Man this reminds me so much of Fight Night. Even the older games were so impressive with the reflex/physics graphics. Had so many fun nights playing with friends and going wild after haymakers were landed. Good times!!

This game has huge potential, it’s something “new” in a way when it comes to combat games, you don’t see a lot of boxing games that are being released Not to mention that the gameplay really goes around the same pace an actual 12 round fight would go, the knockouts aren’t given which is good bc it’s going to have people wanting to earn that knockout and attention to detail such as their faces turning red deeper into the fight, overall excited to see how this game turns out

It’s crazy how we got all this technology but can’t capture the simple things like movement and fluidity. Fight Night Champion came out 10+ years ago and is STILL the gold standard for what a boxing game should be.
Lol don't be ridiculous. This game is still in early access after just leaving beta. You are comparing a finished game to an unfinished game there's lots more to he added and improvements to be made.
Fnc is terrible. They will never be a "simulation" of a fight for the very reason that a computer can only guess how strong any punch on a given trajectory from a moving fighter landing on a moving target is. Can only gamble stamina loss, arbritary things like a speed stat, power stat? Timing matters more but the A.I can only guess hit detection. All sports games, especially combat sports games are arcade games. The emphasis is realistic fun, but it will never be a simulation.

I’ve been following this games development since the beginning, I’ve seen it all and it is made by boxing fans. This game is phenomenal man and this is a boxing’s fan dream right here!
The only thing good about the game is each boxers unique movement style, That's it. Fight night champion feels, plays and looks better. Dodging and moving is a set movement so will look the same 10/10, feels like a mobile game personally. Got a lot of work to do. Tekken 2 looks less like robots wearing skin suits having a scrap.
Eddy hall is there because its a Uk studio and since During the making of this game Eddy was preparing fr boxing and fight halfthor and that eddy is from Uk too they asked him to be in it for fun. I think its nice that hes there even if hes not really a boxer .
Quick advice - body shots only when there is a good chance for a liver shot, focus on the head. If you would've hit him on the head more, I think you would've had the knockout for yourself. Trust me
