I've said it many times, but your attention to details most overlook is amazing!! Also your deligent maintenance program is very educational to say the least!! Hope things go well Mr Tim and looking fwd to following along sir!! 😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🚜🚜🌽🌽
Thank you, I started watching TH-cam to see how to work on some of my farm equipment. What I found was people making viseos about their problem and asking questions on what they need to do. I had manuals and could answer a lot of them. So my main reason for starting to making videos was to show what is involved in some of the maintenance. I have always been one that likes to help others. Thanks for being here and commenting.
Looks like a nice machine. My dealer recommends a synthetic gear oil for the reverser since it can get pretty warm and change every 100 hours. I had to replace the reverser on my 9500 but it has had alot of filings everytime ive changed it so the damage was already done
I know you're usually a little ways behind on your videos, so now that we are in mid October, have you actually started harvesting yet, and if so, are the yields doing pretty well? I have seen several YT-ers say they are actually doing way better than they expected after the spring and then dry summer we had.
I got several fields done over this weekend. Some better then expected and some worst. I will have to wait till I take the grain in for weight tickets.
Started yesterday. 1st field was a bit challenging getting everything setup and working as it should. Stems are green but the average moisture was 10.9%. Started my second field last night, ran till they wouldn't feed anymore. Average moisture so far is 9.8%. Miss seeing your videos. How are things going for you.
@@TAHDAHFarm Doing good over here, gonna try to video some harvest this fall. I cut 40 acres of beans for a guy this past week. Waiting on mine to finish drying out.
@@TAHDAHFarm Tim I'm struggling with something on my 3300 right now the separator Bowl filter screen that screws into the bottom of the fuel tank, I cannot get it to stop leaking through those threads you got any idea what kind of sealant would work?
Teflon tape is not good with diesel. In fact they stop letting us use any Teflon or Teflon tape at work. They do make a tape like Teflon but it's made of something different that's good for fuels but I can't think what it's called. I should be able to find out at work tomorrow.
@@TAHDAHFarm thank you for your assistance with this my friend. 🙂🙏 From my reading and research Permatex has a product called Aviation gasket sealer. Product makes claims of being able to withstand the pressures from petroleum distillions. 🤔
Combine looks like it's been well cared for. Looking forward to seeing it in the field.
He did a pretty good job with it but was never one to do the cleaning.

@@TAHDAHFarm My hats off to you for that sir, VERY VERY good info on every project!! Blessings for a great start to harvest!! 😁😁 Yes sir always!!
Prevented maintenance really helps ! Thanks Tim !
Yes, it is the key to success.

I was surprised that the oil looked as good as it did. The former owner didn't remember the last time he had changed it.
I just bought some of that, 460 synthetic, 36 bucks a quart😳. Better than a thousand dollar plus rebuild though🤣

Have you been able to do any harvesting yet Tim?

And this is why if I had the money I'd buy your older combine cuz I know it was took care of
I sure try to take care of things but this feels like I'm starting all over again. Yes the old combine is in great shape.
@@TAHDAHFarm I know I watched you keep it in great shape👍

Where is your engine oil fill , on your 6620,
On top of the engine in the center of the valve cover. The dip stick for the oil is just behind it.
