Very interesting line. It can be more complex than you think. I tried to use the same positions as the original and they are comfrotable enough. The little solo might be tricky, so it should be practiced slowly. There's lots of 4th intervals that are always tricky to play if you choose to use only one finger to cover both strings. I think this is the most efficient way to do it, but you can choose to use two fingers on each string. About harmony, it is also very interesting and very jazz inspired. It moves most of the time in circle of 4ths movements and it covers different keys. I determined the first one is Db Major, then moves to Eb Major, then A Major, but it might be interpreted in other ways. It's kind of a sequence that moves the same through this keys mentioned:
Fm7 I Bb6 I Ebm7 I Ab6 I Dbmaj7 I Dm7 I G7 I Cmaj7 (in Dbmaj7)
(III) (V of II) (II) (V) (I) (II V I )
2-5-1 cadence to Cmaj7, or half step below tonic
You'll notice this pattern is repeated later with the rest of the song.

@@MnemonicHeadTrip I just use audacity and lower the bass properties enough to where my recording of the bass doesn't conflict with the original bass line in the song. You do this with an effect modifier on the original song. There are tutorials on how to properly use effects on audacity online, but I personally just figured it out myself, it was kind of tedious at the begging tho.
