Im speechless that's the best video of the temple complex I have ever seen , it lays it out so well . Sadly, I have been to Indonesia several times but many many years ago before practicing dharma , and I wasn't even aware it existed at the time

I've been here- unfortunately, it was a rainy day, so the view was not great. What WAS interesting was being the only "white guy" at the top of a Buddhist monument in a Muslim country. I got swarmed by a group of high school-aged kids who were on a field trip. Their teachers asked if I would help them with a lesson, so for almost 2 hours I took photos with them, they practiced asking me questions in English, and they practiced writing down my answers in English. It was a great experience. Sometimes I wonder if those kids remember that day the same way I do.
I have been fortunate enough to have visited Borobudur on a few occasions but never have I imagined what it looks like from HEAVEN! INCREDIBLE! Terima kasih

You miss the point. It is influenced by Gupta Architecture. Sadly the Gupta temples do not exist anymore because of pillage and destruction but yes it has influenced a lot of other empires.

Menlha Chogyal , hihi.. it s only 60 km from my birth town actually. In Fact, there s many ancient building even being predicted older than Egypt Piramids are found here in Java Land. But it will need further deep reasearchs due to very very minimum documents :(
