I know this video has been out a while but I just started playing electric a few months back and your teaching style is first rate! I learned this song in no time thanks to you! Sincerely appreciate the video lessons!!!👏👏
Swift is the word! I learned both lead and rhythm in about 10 minutes. Practice and technique to follow. You are spot on with this comprehensive approach. Thank you. I will subscribe and see you again sir!
¡Me encantó la manera en la que explicaste todo con detenimiento! ¡Saludos desde Argentina! I just loved how thoroughly you taught this lesson! Greetings from Argentina!
I discover this great channel one week ago. You teach, you play, very well. Quite difficult for me in English but with the help of subtitles I´m learning a lot. I want to learn american music sounds, like country, blues and classics like Ritchi Valens. Thank you so much!
Hey El canal de marco, thanks so much for the positive note, I'm so glad you're enjoying my work here and like my teaching style. Many more lessons are on the way, both here and at Patreon.com/swiftlessons. Be well and have fun! -Rob
Muy bueno tu canal, muy completo!... Una sugerencia: ¿Podrías colocar con flechas el rasguido, rasgueo (strumming pattern) de las canciones?, es para que quede más gráfico y se comprenda mejor... Gran saludo de Argentina!!
Thank you for this lesson, youre a good teacher! Just wonder, is there some pedals that you use here in this song? If not, how should i det up the new amp to get this tone that you have in the electric guitar part? Thanks :)
put a capo on the second fret and play it in a g shape thats G/ Aminor/ C and back to G. Play along to the recording with that. No need for Bminor barre chord.
Hi Rob I want to buy a new electric accustic guitar , what would you go for spruce top and rosewood back and sides or mahogany top back and sides both solid wood I have 1,200 to play with not sure what make any suggestions thanks Colin UK 🇬🇧

Hey Angie, so glad you enjoyed today's lesson and that you look forward to my covers. This song is at the top of my range, so I would need to practice a lot before I would be confident in singing it, meanwhile I have other challenging projects that I'm more excited to work on. In the interest of providing regular content, I decided I'd just do a mini lesson on this song. Thanks so much for watching. Enjoy your practice! -Rob
Sure, in this video I'm playing a Faith Legacy FG1 acoustic guitar. They are offering a 15% discount on their entire inventory with the promo code "SWIFT" at: bit.ly/2S9P1Wi. This is my guitar bit.ly/3n3yiCk (Faith Legacy Series. FG1HCE)
My opinion only... at my level (beginner), crawling through how to do easy chords and then whipping through maj and minor scales throws me off. Yes I need to practice scales but I play what I see... and crawling into what people should know by now is hard to do. Just me.
Hey Dino, I feel like there are already loads of lessons on YT that just show how to play the chords and strum. My lessons are meant to be more thorough, and help players understand the theory behind their favorite songs.
