In flexible packaging industry pouches are made with Bopp/printing/laminate with Metalized film/ PE for sealing. Can we use single family materials. What are the advantages of single family structures.

      Hi Jagadish,
Thank you for your question. Laminated pouches can be made with a variety of different materials depending on the type of barriers you require for your product. You could use single family materials such as 100% PE, which has good moisture barrier, printing, and stiffness, however it does not have great oxygen barrier. The main advantage of a single polymer structure is that it is 100% recyclable.
