I have enjoyed this so much. When I have needed a pick me up through the year, I watch Pamela & Felix in this video and I always come away with a smile and lighter heart. You two are great! Thank you for this.
Clapping distracted from the wonderful dancing. Clapping sounded like one ringleader encouraging two others to clap and spoil it. I'll still give a thumbs up though because the dancing was divine.
Clapping on 2 and 4 is basically mandatory for any sort of swing performance in the international swing community, it's a way the audience gives energy and encouragement to the dancers and a way for the audience to feel more engaged with the performance. The louder the clapping the more the audience is feeling it. I dare you to find a great Lindy social demo, competition, choreography, etc. where the audience isn't clapping along ;) It makes way more sense in the room, like the room is crackling with energy. And perks of an audience of dancers is they can all hear the beat and clap in time.
Their musicality is off the charts
Magnifique! 🎉
My favourite kind of dance, musical and playful, and a beautiful dialogue between the two dancers!
