Thank-you so much for this version, it looks great! I've made quite a few of your designs and luv them all. Thanks for the great lessons, not all tutorials explain as well as you do, SO again a big THANK-YOU !!!!!
+Promila Gupta Thanks! The blue bands I used are made by Bracelet Loops. If you don't want to make suspenders, you can add 1 or more buttons at the top for a closure. You could also do a flap, which is what I originally intended to do, but I changed my mind because it tends to curl so much. To make a flap, just finish off the front bands (the same way I show to finish the top) and then just continue building the back side for as many rows as you want the flap to be. You would still have to have some type of button in the front to hold the flap closed. Hope this helps : )
You can just use bands to secure the straps in place. You don't really need to be able to open and close it because you can easily slide the straps to the side.
+Enrika Gudonyte No, with this one you could use bands to attach the ends of the suspenders. Then you can just slip the suspenders down to the sides to get your phone (or whatever) in and out.
+Gena Penegor The buttons I used were actually "inherited" by me when my aunt passed away. I'm sure you would be able to find something similar at a craft or sewing store. If you are in the US, places like Michaels, AC Moore, JoAnn Fabrics, etc. I'm not sure about places outside the US. Hope this helps : )
If the pins are staggered, you could do it . You would just use the 2 outside rows that are even with one another and you would have to work around the middle row. It would be harder because there wouldn't be as much space for the bag to fit down in between the pins as it grows.
+Dalia Palma I have a video with a larger bag done with just a hook. If you wanted it closer to this size, you would start with a smaller chain. Here is the link - th-cam.com/video/9sLhtZiACyw/w-d-xo.html
+Becky Oyster I don't think it is too difficult. It is a bit time consuming, but it's mostly the same pattern. The hardest part is probably tacking on the parts (like the eye and the buttons), but even that isn't too hard. Also, making the eye may be challenging if you aren't familiar with the hook only designs, but you can choose to follow the medium circle burst tutorial and make that type of eye.

What other thing can you use beside buttons to hold the straps
You can just use bands to secure the straps in place. You don't really need to be able to open and close it because you can easily slide the straps to the side.
Do you have to use buttons
+Enrika Gudonyte No, with this one you could use bands to attach the ends of the suspenders. Then you can just slip the suspenders down to the sides to get your phone (or whatever) in and out.

can you make a bag on a loom without moveable pins
If the pins are staggered, you could do it . You would just use the 2 outside rows that are even with one another and you would have to work around the middle row. It would be harder because there wouldn't be as much space for the bag to fit down in between the pins as it grows.
+jordantine1 thank u

Just so you know I'm his daughter. My name is Isabella
Can tablet fit in
+Tanya Wise Not if you are using one loom. You can put more than one loom together and make it as wide as you need to fit a tablet.
how do you make it with a hook😕😕😕
+Dalia Palma I have a video with a larger bag done with just a hook. If you wanted it closer to this size, you would start with a smaller chain. Here is the link - th-cam.com/video/9sLhtZiACyw/w-d-xo.html
i need a smaller one i dont have that many bands
+Alexandra Berning You can make a smaller one if you like. You would just use fewer pins to make your rectangle.
