It's always heartening to see how non human mammals and other animals such as birds can share one water hole. That skunk is a rare one with non connecting stripes (forget what they are called) and so many Cotimandi (sp?) with those long tails. As always....thanks for sharing...
This is good and important work, keep with it! A great reminder of the connection we need to maintain with the natural world. Soon things might be different…
Hey Jason, love your videos! I have a suggestion that might make viewers more appreciative and it could be educational as well. Maybe posting time stamps with the animal identifications in the descriptions, or a small pop up on the screen. I think it would add something your channel needs :) for the viewers that aren’t as versed in the animal kingdom as we are. Thank you for all your hard work Jason! Happy Hiking.
wtf!?!? Is that a lemur or something, In AZ. i thought they just had scorpion, armadillos, snakes, and coyotes. Wow! thats crazy. and Im only 2-3 states north.
Thank you so much for taking the time to set up the cameras, editing, posting, etc. It is amazing to watch the various animals coming to the water holes. it is like a little piece of Heaven. Is it just one pond or several? I love thinking there are bears in AZ. I'd love to just sit under a tree and watch them come and go.
hey Jason, I put a trail camera in the AZ forest this Summer. In less than 4 weeks I caught 7 different bears in the exact same location. It was about 100 yards from a pond. Does this seem like a normal or unusually high concentration of bears?
Yes, that may have been the only water source so it brought all the bears to that area. They could of also showed up because of the Bear Rut (breading season) which brings bears from all over.
@@JasonMillerOutdoors Oh, I forgot to mention. I was resting by the pond, when I heard splashing. I looked over to my right and saw a bear was in the pond taking a bath up to its neck. lol. There was a bit of 'stress' when it finally noticed me, but we both went our own way with no harm done.
@@kayenta463 Yes, thank you (I Googled coati mundi after your comment). I had absolutely no idea they live in AZ after living here most of my 69 years. Wow!
I so hate coatimundi's, I probably shouldn't but I just think they are spreading to fast and everyone this there cute so they are doing nothing about them.
Very interesting,thanks for the videos
I can think of nothing more wonderful than this gift you offer!
The WONDERS of Arizona..! Is this southern, central, or northern AZ, just out of curiosity?
Southern Az

That was a Spotted skunk and Coatimundis.
There is nothing sweeter than watching a bird bathe.
That and I love seeing a bear soaking in a pool. Gotta love nature❤❤
Such a relaxing & entertaining way to wind down my day. Thank you! And the slow mo of the hawk flying was great. 😊
Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing these. I love seeing all the healthy wildlife in Az
Thank you very much.
That hawk bathing was amazing, I didn't know they did that. And that skunk with the stripes was unusual. Good watering hole.
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful piece on nature. And thank you for editing it altogether so beautifully.
Thank you so much!
Thank you for your amazing videos. I LOVE watching them.
Glad you enjoyed it.
The skunks in your trailcam all have unique coat patterns. Is that typical for desert skunks?
Pretty much!

Tremendous Jason!
Interesting to see a brown bear with black legs
Color phase black bears.
What a variety at the watering hole!
Yes, I get many different animals there.
This is actually breathtaking.

Suspect and Browning cameras
That was fabulous, Jason.

I just noticed the temperature stamp. Is it possible to film in cold weather or do batteries die?
Yes, my camera do still record in cold temps.
Great footage.
Thank you for watching!
Dumb question, but here goes, the animals with the very long tails, sometimes with fur missing, what are they? Thanks for posting. Amazing.
Wondering the same thing--Are they Fisher Cats? Love the video. Thanks

Coatimundis
A lot of life in that little bit of water.
That is a hidden Spring I found, they feel safe watering there.
Never seen them do they behave like raccoons
Yes, in a way they do.

So what do u propose? IED’s or something?
Encourage people to harvest them.
@@otismeeks3852 I’m sure u know…r they delicious?
So...let me see if I understand. A good reason to kill coatis is because you just don't like them?
