People nowadays don't really dance anymore, this type of dance really works out the body. I thank my instructor Chester A. Whitmore for keeping this style of dance alive. These guys were/are amazing and thank God we have such an amazing program in Los Angeles, where I can train to do this. Thanks to all the pioneers and Chester A. Whitmore!! I love your class. You rock.

According to the Marshall Stearns book "Jazz Dance," that's Hank Jones on piano, and this show aired January 3, 1965 on CBS.

The Late Cholly Atkins is former choreographer for The Temptations for years.

chilly Atkins was the choreographer for The Mighty Ojays. You can tell if you are an Ojays fan because they still use some of his style, amazing cats.
