I grew up hearing that accent as we lived in Leicester in my teens. It's like a combination of North London and Yorkshire and much better than the Birmingham accent.
I keep commending this band because the way they started is awesome and the effort put in every song depicts the faith for the alternative scene. Clearly their most recent album got aloof from the perfection and the originality I was used to: it's more commercial than previously and it doesn't hold that space-rock hint I found in some tracks as Empire or Shoot the runner. The electronic experiments worked so well for the birth of this band, they have several things in common with the other bands born after the '90s, and there's so much they spread on stage: it's an emotional trail through alleyways and horses, there's also a western feeling I spotted in Empire and it makes me remind of Muse with Knights of Cydonia. I'm so bothered when someone bashes the newness conveyed because of a personal thought or maybe you try to underrate an artist without knowing his career so much. This is an outrage and it means you're immature, because you should strive to grasp the message a band gives off, you can't be absolutely allowed to ruin the image of an artist. The fondest fans will never walk away! The fidelity is required to be endless and the dedication is something that never runs out. Most likely let's gonna take a bath into this delicious rock/electro mix!
Why do I always get into bands that have a member or a lead singer with some kind of disorder. For example Craig Nicholls from The Vines. Doesn't bother me :P
I'm always annoyed by people who write that he's drunk or on drugs. IT'S ADHD. In most cases, all his behavior at concerts and interviews are due to ADHD. And the difference between where a person is drunk and where he is not is quite obvious.
Such a beautiful accent.
