Having your sub and cruiser attacked by Hawke have two purpose:
1. To damage your ships so you can join them and get the money refund for building tanks which help you kill enough enemy for Power Score
2. To charge your CO guage
Be carefully not to over abuse as it will make Hawke CO gauge charge faster too

For me the top right rocket in the beggining attacks the sub leaving it at 1hp

why is it a 2nd Video without the APC on the Island around Drakes boats and this?

I wondered that same thing. Has to be a bug, they should have shot.
