Kia Ora! I really enjoyed your video even though I live near the Auckland International Airport, I had no idea of what it looks like inside plus I wanted to know what the breakfast menu is like so you've ticked both boxes for me! By the way, kumara is the Maori word for sweet potato 🥰
Kia oraaaaaaaaaaa~ I think you should try the buffet dinner, it’s very affordable and worth the price. Thanks for sharing with me the Maori word ^_^ The only food name I know is Hangi :) and tasted the frozen hangi once :p
Is the dinner buffet a set price as its not shown on the website's menu for 1350. As that just shows individually priced starters and mains and desserts
Hi Jim! Thanks for sharing your travels with us The room 360 view is genius, as anyone would know from experience that it is impossible to take the whole room in one photo without sacrificing some aspects (e.g. corridors, portion of toilet). I saw you used 5 vantage points to show the room in 80sec, and I think the proposed 20s/vantage is 25% slower.👻For myself, I think the current speed works fantastic as it is! Whatever your decision, please continue to make these excellent quality hotel room tours. Regardless of sg or overseas, Marriott Bonvoy or not, love all your content.😳 P.S. Will Shauwn reveal the industry he is in? I am curious if we both work in the same! (I am a chartered accountant🤯). Thanks and have a great day to both gentlemen
Hi Carolyn~ I think something wrong with TH-cam, the video is not yet publish but there are 3 people watched the video :p Last time I feel giddy to watch the 360 video but I know it can be a bit useful for the viewers to pause and check the room by themselves, especially planned to stay in the hotel. In the future I will indicate the timing of the Key moments in the video, so viewers can skip to the part they like. Shuan is an occupational therapist student, he is study full time for 4years, that is why he can travel much with me for the past few years, and I am a photographer :p
@@Follow_ussg Dear JIM! I think I am the =3 views oops sorry haha! As I have to click the video in order to see if there has been any reply to my comment🤔 Thank you very much for your reply🤗It is very kind of you and Shuan to document and share these amazing hotel room tours with all of us! Wishing Shuan every success in his studies and career in the healthcare industry, and for your business to reap tremendous wealth from the endless business contracts! You know we are your no.1 supporters of all photography/videography related content that you host here on this channel, I myself have been to the hotels and food places that you stayed/took photos for. Have a great day!
Oh ahhaha~ no worry~ Maybe you will always get to watch the videos I have not yet publish~ I just attended TH-cam Singapore event today. Next year I will be focus more of Singapore local places to visit BUT You will see a cool trip in March! Shaun crazy one la~ study 4 years full time is not for him, lucky he still alive! I think next year will have about 5 new hotels I will try in Singapore then like no staycation videos we can vlog liao.
They use L’Or coffee capsule for their nespresso. Btw you mention got room upgrade to executive suite? The room doesn’t look like a suite. Maybe they made mistake? 😅
@@mintico hahaha, I’m fine with that. Was toooooo tired drove from Christchurch to Auckland, happy to get a room early in the morning before I return my car.
The Novatel looks just great. I live not far from the Airport and know its layout really well. The Novatel is a complete contrast to the Sofitel in Wellington and Auckland. Both very poor service, overpriced rubbish. I will recommend people here look at your video for a recommendation. Really enjoying the series of Videos. Mark xx
Ohhh, that’s convenient for you to travel! Too bad I didn’t know you live near by, I’d ask you for a drink as the night is boring at the airport! I’m happy with both Sofitel’s bed and facilities just that not happy with the Sofitel Auckland’s rude housekeeping teaching me to put the do not didn’t sign :p 12hrs later will have the Air New Zealand business class video but I think you will be on the bed at the time :p
