I *hate* what the fandom did with his character... He's my favorite character in the entire game and I can't stand the videos you mentioned. Seeing him all goofy, acting flirty and just being stupid gives me a major headache. I just started the video but people saying how great the video and that the creator included the actual, canon, Childe makes me really happy and immediately love the video as well! ^-^
@@NeonJJ_195 Childe is my favourite character too, and ahh I can’t consume any content of him cause it’s all “hey girly” Childe. When finding fics or react videos of him it’s like 1/10 will have a genuine canon version of him so I’ve almost stopped searching for content of him.

I love canon Childe so much! Yeah, he is definitely kind-hearted (at least to those he likes) and is definitely family oriented as shown in his story quest and whenever his siblings are mentioned, but I don't get why people usually toss aside his more psychotic side and the fact he's a Fatui Harbinger to make the jokes about him. This toy salesman definitely has fantastic one liners though 😜😂 Great job actually putting in the canon side of him rather than fanon, I really enjoyed the video because of that aspect and the reactions to it as well 🤗
