I've had mine since 2009 and I love it.... I even made a frontier shoulder rig for it because when I tried to hang it on my belt, it ALWAYS pulled my pants down❗😉❗ So I took a possibles bag and attached a holster I made for it to the back.... I even added a couple of tubes to hold ram & cleaning rods for convenience... This gives me a bag to hold my makens in, and the strap over the shoulder keeps my pants off my ankles‼️😉‼️
I really enjoy my muzzle loaders. They are like a little personal cannon. BTW, if you're in doubt if it's still loaded and you can fire it safely, load another percussion cap & safely fire it. I like to mark the ram rod to show empty.
What a Lovely black powder shot in the mountains of Tennessee in the warm months, which are just around the corner! Yes, Tennessee, the home of Hickok 45 and John! Love it and Kind Thanks! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Love my Howdah. I love playing with shot combos. My favorite right now is Number 4 with overshot wad then a big ol ball on top. I am slightly overcharging it for a little extra ass behind the shot.
After you did your first video on the Pedersoli Howdah 20 gauge double barrel shotgun pistol I ordered one from Dixie Gun Works. I absolutely love my Pedersoli Howdah Pistol, it's great shooting #4 buckshot, or buck and ball, bird shot, or even 00 buckshot. It is one of my all time favorites to shoot.
@ approx 10:20 "...Mr. Tiger or Mr. Lion..." of course, as Mr. Hickok45 obviously knows, back in the days of hunting on the subcontinent of British India circa early 1800s, the Asiatic Lion was still to be found in India.
Nothing like the smell of black powder in the air, it always puts a big smile on my face. I always enjoy the aftermath when the smoke finally clears. Enjoy and have a good day.😅
I did see that. Wondered what you were experimenting with. The gun speaks to you, yours was silent. I just bought one. Thank you for your time. Love❤ it.
Boy, does Time fly by. It must be warm there, since Sunday shoot-a-round. Here in 🇨🇦 we had a nice mild day also. Man oh Man does that thing sure blow off a lot of smoke. Looks like a lot of fun. Take Care and Be Safe.
This is Why I’m Subscribed, because of videos like this, I care northing about newer guns, but love the Muzzleloaders , now ima have to take my sawed of 12g SXS pistol grip Belgian wannabe Howdah pistol and unleash some Terror into a trashcan
Thanks For another wonderful video. Always a great break from daily life. But it can be expensive. The Howdah is a gun that really has one major purpose FUN!! Cheers
Note: the handle on the Howda is very similar to those on short-barreled shotguns like the Shockwave. The handles on both were expressly designed to absorb shock, and they do.
It does not work like you think it does. This is only a 20 gauge, but with a 12 gauge you have to keep a good grip to avoid slashing your hands. The grip is just a traditional pistol shape.
The first time I heard about that howda pistol was the first time you fired one! I fired several sbsg's 50 years ago ...but they were not percussion . I need 😫 to get one of those howda's !
I always love it when you shoot black powder. Man it sure don't seem like it's been 5 years since you shot that thing. My doesn't time fly when you're having fun! Keep ye powder dry!
I've been thinking about picking up the modern .410 version of this pistol. Still haven't decided if I want one. Anyone have any experience with them that they could share?
I've had mine since 2009 and I've loved it since day #1.... I thought about getting another one in the 45cal that's rifled but I'm on SSDI Disability and can't afford to do it unless I was to sell off a couple or 3 other guns to pay for it.... And I can't do that anymore.... So I'll just keep what I've got... But you can't go wrong with one just like you watched Hickok45 with in this video, so if you've got the itch, you should strike while the irons hot.... They ain't getting any cheaper....
Really enjoyed this video. Please do some on flint lock howdah or ball and cap coach gun or maybe the more modern version called the Little Diablo or updated Desperado. I'm an over the road truck driver. Need something with the least amount of jurisdictional issues
a bit off-topic, but what the heck! scenario: two revolvers, same ammo in both, revolver 1 weighs 4 oz more than revolver 2. would you expect #2 to have more "felt" recoil? both revolvers are steel.
I have wanted one since they were around $500, but I thought I'd wait for a sale around Christmas time. Well, many years later, and about $230 dollars more, makes me doubt my strategy a little bit..... : (

It's not 60cal, it's actually a 69cal ball....
Have to get one of those. My trash cans have been looking at me in a very threatening way lately when I take them out to the curb.
Definitely! I was attacked by my trash can once. It drew blood. You better be careful.
Love the Howda. Makes me want one every time I see it
I seem to WANT whatever he's shooting!😂
I love how you can tell a story when you're doing the process of loading it... it so soothing 😌

Welcome back howdah pistol!!! We miss you!!! 😭😭😭😭😭
Love my Howdah. I love playing with shot combos. My favorite right now is Number 4 with overshot wad then a big ol ball on top. I am slightly overcharging it for a little extra ass behind the shot.
It's always great to see the black powder firearms being shot there so much fun to use. It sure is worth the cleanup effort.
The first shot blew the speaker on my phone lol.

I really need one of those for my black powder collection!
7:50 When you definitely have to put holes into your trash can.
I didn't see the target explode with all that smoke, lol.
Omg!! Coolest thing I ever saw online, super cool to watch.
Lol, that old gun is really cool , keep them coming
ขอให้ลุงมีสุขภาพแข็งแรงครับ 🙏
This is one of your more interesting videos. I'd like to see one on the short barrowed shot guns I've seen advertised lately.
Great video, and a neat historic pistol! Great job!

Cool piece. Thanks Mr. Hickok...
Well worth the time spent reloading it
Why was I yelling at my monitor, "Cap It!!!" But you must have heard me😁
Hopefully this pistol will be in compliance with the new TH-cam guidelines… I wonder is it less than 30 round magazine in that..?
These are so fun !! I found one at my local gun shop a few years ago and it’s so fun .. just don’t be in a hurry to shoot
There was one at my local shop a few years ago too. I'm still kicking myself for not getting it.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day today ❤️

Smoooch!! Muuuahh!! Keep making these videos my favorite outlaw with big hands.😍🤩❤❤❤.
Cool video. This thing seems to be louder than most of the firearms featured here.
Thanks for another great video sir. Can i use different Amunitions for this weapon please??
I use a small bronze nipple brush to clear debris, and have both rams/brushes doubled to match the gun, much faster reload time!
That's my favorite, I love your black powder videos, have a nice day 👍

Take it to Matt's house! (Demolition Ranch) and make a video like he did wit you of guns that Matt wouldn't normally own
PEDERSOLI company here in Italy manufactures first class replicas, as well as a number of gorgeous muzzle loaders.
One..... Two.... Buckle...my...shoe..... (referee reluctantly counting out a boxer lying on the canvas).
Great video as always Hickok I pray you aren’t being effected by the new TH-cam rules.
If so, all our videos are on rumble, and it's kept up to date.
It's not safe until you look down the barrels and make sure they aren't hot!

Your looking good Hickock,I'm losing weight too no more junk, how bout shooting Beretta 92 x RDO haven't seen one just bought one there great
Very good weapon
Is the Howda legal in Cali.? Or is it considered a Sawed Off Shotgun even though it's black powder?
I have a Pedersoli 12 g. double barrel shot gun. It's a blast to shoot.
Too freaking cool.
This is the new ‘Dad, How do I?’ channel
Cool, I had an Ethan Allen double barrel but in .36 cal. Like a mini me of that lol.
Os primórdios do tiro, show de bola.
look at Mike Douglas uses in "the ghost and the darkness" talk about killing power!
Awesome! They should make a breech loading 20 gauge maybe?
Probably not legal huh?
They were a HOWDA in the movie ghost in the darkness.
As always awesome video.
