- Hey, what's up, guys! Hope you're having a great weekend! Last night, I managed to complete a Darkheart Thinket +27, which I'm very happy about. Darkheart has been a struggle for me the entire season, so this is the highest DHT that I have completed. But what I'm even happier about is that I watched Skill Capped's new video about cooldown management, and to my surprise, I saw myself. That is truly insane to think about, and I'm humbled to be in their video. It's kind of a dream come true moment to see myself "alongside" players like Critcake and Stove. Just insane. So, about the run then. Even though it is a high tyrannical key, I decided to throw Power of Goldrinn out of the window and kept the Fae's. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with Goldrinn, if that is even possible. I do zero damage with it, and it refuses to proc. I did a +26 DHT just before with Goldrinn, and it did 4M damage, which is just above Wrath. In other words, very low. I guess the fae build is more "pad," but the difference is just too big between the builds. Also, Darkheart bosses don't have any big DPS checks.
I didn't run Remove Corruption due to it being tyrannical, and we already had two dispels. However, I did pick up Hibernate for the weekly affix. I swapped out Incessant Tempest, which reduces the cooldown on Typhoon.
By the way, guys, do you believe that I can obtain the 0.1 title? I haven't gotten any score for the past three weeks or something (except from this run), so I still miss around 40. I believe.

Any advice on adapting to lower keys? My semi-static group with guildies is usually not running above 22-23 and like mentioned in other comments Boomies ramp is rough at lower keys. I just feel like it might be easier for those keys and to get the group to push if I can pull more damage. Like would it be better to ask the other dps to go more ST/Funnel? Playing FoE over Moons?
@AKRenlor I would probably play FoE in that key range, even on tyrannical. I'm not sure about asking other DPS to adapt, maybe into more AoE? Balance does okay single target, especially if you have Incarnation up
I wish I could play my boomkin in keys like you do. I just can’t seem to get it right. Idk if it’s because my routes aren’t planned with a coordinated group or if I’m just doing something wrong.
what key lvl u running ?
@@Idkidkidkidk456 I run around the 20-22 key level but a lot of times I’ll run as feral because my damage as boomie isn’t there I’m 2500io and I’m trying to push past that.
@@Kbutler352its normal to not do great dmg in that key lvls as boomie sadly cause of the long ramp -.-
@Kbutler352 Thanks! I would have answered very similarly to the answers that you already got. It's unfortunate that most people don't get to play Boomkin at their peak, which is 27+ in my opinion. If you are trying to push past 2.5k, I believe you can do it :)
