Sir to test hypothesis statements...the question should be taken from questionnaire? Example- H: Advertisement does have impact on consumer Questionnaire- Do Adverstisement impact on consumer Yes or No? ***Should we take the data from Questionnaire to test the hypothesis? Please Help!!
if hypothesis is "Advertisement does have impact on consumer". I suggest you to not ask the same in the questionnaire. instead of that, you can go for more personal approach in asking a response. for example "Do you ever rely on advertisements for purchasing a product - YES or NO" or "Advertisements helps us to take better buying decisions - Strongly Agree, A, N, D, Strongly Disagree"
Our purpose is to collect data that represent our variable. You can construct the question in your way. But should avoid the intellectual gap between the researcher and the respondents. You can ask questions like this. 1. Have you purchased any products recently after coming across any advertisements? (Yes / No) 2. Specify your level of satisfaction after purchasing an advertised product. (Very satisfied/Satisfied/Neutral/Unsatisfied/Very unsatisfied.) 3. How often do you purchase goods/Services influenced by an advertisement? (Never/Rarely/Sometimes/Often/Always)
