Thank you for an INFORMATIVE demo. There are many glitch/lo-fi pedals out now. So many of the lifestyle demos are entertaining and all, but not very useful for determining the actual capabilities of the pedal. I will buy one of these based on your demo.
All these new sounds in version 2 make this thing an ambient power house. I'm really tempted to make this the centerpiece of a small board setup ... when they come out with a black version. :D Great work on the demo as always!
@@smashedwasp6667 thanks! The guitar is a Charvel DC-2 with Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB and SH-2N. There might be parts with Player Jazzmaster (with PV ‘65 pickups). “Amp” is a clean Fender model on Line 6 HX Stomp, recorded direct.
I think I like the original more but probably because I feel like they are truly miles apart from each other. Not even comparable. This thing through a Earthquaker Devices Data Corruptor would be very interesting.
Amazing demo! I'm thinking about this or the original syntax error. For signal chain did you have this an amp sim/FX loop of an amp or just straight in to an interface? I'm thinking this could do a lot for my board and I would potentially run it in stereo depending on placement in the signal chain. Some of the modes seem like they might be better served going before an amp whereas others would definitely be nice after the amp or in the FX loop.
Thanks! It is in the fx loop of my HX Stomp. I’m using an amp and cab simulation. Syntax Error is before the amp or between the amp and cab depending on the preset but it should mostly be before.
Hello. Do you know how it stacks with other pedals? For example if I use the ring modulator will it stack well with an OC2 before it , a dirt box after it and a low pass filter towards the end of the chain? Thank you

Thanks! It does have MIDI but I’m not sure about the clock. If the manual doesn’t have the info get in touch with Alexander Pedals. I’m sure they’ll help.
They are very different it’s hard to compare them. I think the only similarity is that they could be categorized as “something different”. Syntax Error can do more “normal” effects like delay, reverb, chorus etc. Microcosm has a looper which opens up a whole other area of exploration.
The sounds are amazing. But I had to send mine back. The pedal freezed a couple of times. The knobs stopped working and I had to unplug the power supply and give it a few minutes. I think some kind of software bug. That shouldn't happen with a 350€ pedal.
Sorry to hear that. I bet Alexander people would be able to take care of you. I've literally seen them provide a new firmware for a pedal in less than a day when a user on a forum mentioned a bug.

Awesome demo ! I think this would be very useful for me for the stretch effect pitch shifter with it's ability to be sequenced.
Thanks! Yeah the sequencer is really useful. It can even turn into a smoother LFO with the glide.

Am I the only one who thinks the new Stretch mode covers quite a bit of Tensor territory (minus the looping capability)?

@@DoNoise The seller is getting in touch with them and he will contact me if there is a bugfix. Still, I was a little disappointed.
@@svenbaertig There have been a few firmware revisions at this point (July 2022). I would imagine you had some early bugs that were likely fixed.
