BornNaturalBaller30 I agree. While Keith's death was terrible, Q was so young. He had so much potential. Keith had a family on the way but I dunno, it hit me harder l.
I think both of their deaths were traumatic for the show, just in different ways. Keiths brought more anger than anything else, whereas Q's had a lot more sadness in it
I like the way they handled it, but they had already told Jamie that Dan was dead (a lie but that's what Nathan said in season 5) but he clearly understood what death meant. So, why didn't they just explain it that way to him?
Dan went to Prison the day Jamie was born. And when Nathan found out he killed Keith, he cut Dan out of his life Completely. So Jamie did not know Dan at all. It was easier to tell Jamie Dan was dead, and Keith was dead b/c Jamie did not have an emotional connection to either of them. However, Jamie grew really close to Q. How do you tell a five year old that someone they love is dead. It’s different to a five year old, knowing a family member you will never meet a family member, Versus, finding out you will never see a loved one again when you just saw them 2 days ago.
Cause Jamie is still a boy. Not even 6 I don’t think. He might understand the concept in vague terms, the person not being around. But does a kid that young truly understand what death means? I don’t think so. Poor Jamie lost his idol, his friend.
Explaining that someone they've never met is dead is one thing, it's a whole other to tell your child that someone they knew and loved is gone, trust me.
I feel like Q’s death hit me harder than Keith’s death did. Q was so young and had a really bright future ahead of him as a basketball player. Keith had a family on the way but he already made something of himself. Q and Jamie had a great relationship and it breaks my heart. Q loved and cared for Jamie. Neither of them deserved to be killed, but Quentin was young..and so was Jamie at that time..he didn’t deserve to have to loose one of his best friends like that

I just lost my aunt on june 29 2020 and man it was so shocking and my mom reaction has been one to be hold
It one comment, people are complaining that a 5 year old should understand death. In this one, you’re saying that the 9 year old actor playing that 5 year old kid would be confused and upset by having to act that someone was dead? I’m confused.
Surprisingly his death was sadder than Keith's death, anyone agree?

xCanYouFeelTheLovex I don't understand why, Keith was more important if u know what I mean. I'll sub to u if u sub to me
BornNaturalBaller30 no not really. Almost the same level
Matt and Jeff when Keith died, I wasn’t emotionally invested in the show yet. For Quentin I was and it killed my heart

Q and Jamie’s bond was so beautiful and funny.
I loved it too q didn't really like nobody but loved jamie and nathan

When he said "his body stopped working". Damn, that line hit hard.
We all know Q would've loved the cape!

Love...
Who's making these subtitles , they are shocking
Jaime became the strong when it got bad here.
why would they do this to the child actor of Jamie? The blackmass the worship of death
Q was just a character. It's not like someone actually died in the actor's life. Calm down.
