For more Cursor AI beginner coding videos EXACTLY like this 👉 th-cam.com/play/PLi7jtY2ZZqRYcTyljGF6LKoGqyrdGnsM9.html EDIT: To get the "Go Live" button In your settings tab (I'm on Mac so this might be different for windows) go to "View" then go to "Extensions" then search "Live Server" and download the one that is made by "ritwickdey". This will let you run files on a local page like i did. From there, there might be an extra setting to get the "Go Live" button at the bottom of your cursor!
First for the tutorial: great job! for a smaller channel sometimes you dont know what to expect but you did a really good succinct tutorial that covered the basics well for Cursor IDE: wow, this looks crazy and like it's gonna really improve workflow. I've been using ChatGPT copy paste and this looks so much better
thanks for the feedback my man 💪 I used to copy and paste too, and before Cursor the next best AI coding tool I would use was Replit. But Cursor with Claude is actually superb
Great overview. Now if the computer Claude is navigating could be setup for super fast access to google sheets and google calendar, then this could replace all the code at Bart's Automotive!
Hello thank you for the video. Much appreciated. I have subscribed. I would like to see next a video of how to connect cursor to cloudways via SSH so that I can work directly on the server and see my results live.
Ah yes I see, in your settings tab (I'm on Mac so this might be different for windows) go to "View" then go to "Extensions" then search "Live Server" and download the one that is made by "ritwickdey". This will let you run files on a local page like i did. From there, there might be an extra setting to get the "Go Live" button at the bottom of your cursor! Hope this helps :)

So API is used to communicate with different tools, like if you wanted to plug into Shopify, or ChatGPT, etc. The stuff inside the blank box is all Javascript (coding language). Check out this vid where I go over how to code in more depth: th-cam.com/video/gmwTlTxea7g/w-d-xo.html. Good luck man!

Build on this example but in different files and talk about context, updating, how to include other libraries, push to fit etc
@@telegrphavenuetv done and done, have noted this down for future vidzzz
This is the first video that explains the Node JS part, for beginners. Thanks so much.
No worries my man, I'll be putting out more beginner coding content in the coming vids 💪
Thanks for the overview. I pulled a few good nuggets from it!
thank you legend :)

Excellent tutorial mate! not even Cursor has that simple and explanatory! Congrats and Thank You!
thank you my man 💪
How do you not have a 6 figure subscriber count. Your content is top tier. Keep up the good work. You'll have a large following in no time.
Thank you very much legend, I appreciate that. Let's do this 💪
Very cool tutorial! Super easy to follow along and made a game at the end of it haha. Nice!
yeah buddy!! 🙏
subscribed. I am your target audience lol. Thank you for making this easy to understand for a non-coder like me
haha! so awesome, thank you very much legend 💪
Nice video Bart! Thanks!
Thank you my man 💪

Bart's Automotive is due for some new AI employee restructuring! 😂
Any idea how to jump to class or function definition, I already tried ctrl + click but didn't work ?
Hey my man, I'm actually not sure what the shortcut would be as I don't use it. Maybe worth emailing Cursor and asking them?
Best one. Do a series where you teach in detail like this. Most people are just teaching as if everyone uses their stack and shortcuts 😂
Thanks legend 💪 Will do, will make some more vids around coding or building an app. And will keep things slow and simple 🚀🚀
Thanks bruh - got me up to speed real quick
sickness 💪
How do you make a git repository on the review page?
Hello thank you for the video. Much appreciated. I have subscribed. I would like to see next a video of how to connect cursor to cloudways via SSH so that I can work directly on the server and see my results live.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll look into it and might make a vid on this :) 🙏
I don't seem to have the option at the bottom to go live. It's html and then cursor tab for me

@@BartSlodyczka Great tutorial overall, but I ran into the exact same issue. I would maybe pin a comment or something to explain this to new people
Liked and sub immediately!
thanks legend 🏆
How do you turn on the live button on cursor ai ?

Thank you so much sir, it worked. Bless you.
absolute beginner-question: without the API I can't get to the blank box, right?!
