Did someone say Conrail?? lol I would have liked to have seen the tank cars come with blue bearing caps. I own the Conrail SD38, SD40 and SD40-2 in Lionel O Gauge lol. BTW, DJ coupling speed looks a little too fast lol. Coupling speed should be no more than 5mph. Looks like DJ coupling scale speed is 25 mph lol. Athearn is great quality and a must have for any HO layout.
@DJHProductions that's why engineer Hall is the engineer 😉 🤣. I bet his connections go click instead of bang boom bam screech lol. But it's all good. Always a entertaining video as usual
@@Dakman Just for you the next video is going to have the most realistic train operations you've ever seen. Real time couple moves, real time waits for dispatcher operations, etc. Be prepared for a 19 hour video....
Seems to me that all the on-line retail hobby stores are mainly geared toward DCC users. What about us DC guys? Ever have anything for us? I personally dislike HO DCD sound. Cheers from a representative of DC railroading in eastern TN
So our situation is we have to stock what most of our customers want, and 90% of them want DCC and sound. And honestly it is cheaper for us to buy DCC and sound equipped engines already installed as opposed to buying DC locomotives and then adding decoders later. Like anything if there is a specific thing you are looking for, and if it is available, let us know and we will special order it for you. Otherwise we probably won't have it. Thanks for watching.
hello Engineer Hall & DJ & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thanks Engineer Hall DJ Friends Randy
I like your stuff keep it up!!
Does the ballast cars have removable loads or not? I really enjoy your shows.
That is a good question…. I don’t remember. If I were to guess I would say yes but I’m not 100% on that. I’ll have to look into that further.
Yes They are removable. I'm thinking about doing a short video adding real ballast to the loads.

Why are the manufacturers not putting the red MU cables on the engines?
Um…. It’s Christians fault!!!

So I tried posted the link but TH-cam doesn’t like me doing that. Just do a search for Athearn railbox and it’s the first one that pops up.
