But he's really a martial artist as well outside of that. lol
These are all so well done. You can tell the devs not only had fun making these, but they put some serious tboughts in them to fit with some characters while also having others just be super funny

Right? And they're not all generic animals either, some of them are completely unique like Omni Man's Kaiju, Baraka's Tarkatan mutant porcupine, and Homelander's griffin. I'm especially glad Shao's grizzly bear form and Li Mei's panda form have totally different bodies and animations. It would've been easy to cheap out and make them pallette swaps since they're both bears, but if you ever watch videos of pandas they don't look or move like regular bears at all lol
They just went nuts with the American stereotypes on his. At least they didn't go quite as crazy on the American stereotypes with Homelander, lol. Just an eagle-based gryphon with American flag colors.

We had Babalities in MK9, and Freindships in MK11 (yes, we had Brutalities return ever since MKX, but only in name, due to the application being completely different, as Brutalities in MKX/11/1 need you to finish a fight with a specific special move under specific circumstances (and it applies to X-Rays in MKX as well), while Brutalities in MK Trilogy are performed when the opponent is dizzy at the end of a match, like all other fatalities, but you need to input a long string of buttons and directions to pull it off, and the result is similar to an Ultra Combo from Killer Instinct (the first Killer Instinct had Fatality-style finishing moves, but they were called Ultimates there).), so Animalities were the next obvious choice for an alternate finisher returning from the classic MK trilogy (Kameo Fatalities and Seasonal Fatalities were not introduced until MK1), this type being introduced in MK3 specifically, but unlike in that game, UMK3, or Trilogy, no Mercy is required to perform an Animality in MK1.
Giraffes are far from being gentle. They're necks are incredibly strong. They use them to fight other giraffes. And are totally capable of doing that to not only a human but any other animal as well.

Homelander’s is easily my favorite. The way he just slices you up and grabs you mid air, his face screaming “Oh I’m not done with you yet,” and just fries you with his laser vision OH ITS SO GOOD. And his design is easily the most unique to me.

I think Shang Tsung's cobra animality could be better than just squeeze and decapitate, he already did that in past MK games. Maybe just swallowing and vomiting its victim (as a reference for the Anaconda movie). But I understand that they just keep the original animality as Szyzoth/Reptile 1st fatality already eats and pukes his victim

I love the fact when they change they retain some of their notable physical traits like with the porcupine still having baraka's teeth and the hyena still had canines but with no flesh around it like havik's face lol
Yeah, they could have even gone further. For one, I thought It would have been more badass and less random if the robot characters transformed into robot animals.
All of these look absolutely Beautiful. I'm not a fan of the gameplay of any MK game past MK Trilogy (except for Shaolin Monks) because im old school. However, I give credit to the amazing thought and detail they put into these cinematic Fatalities and Anamalities.
Noob's crocodiles were pretty well tamed for your average crocs, restraining themselves to only biting with the tips of their snouts, you almost never see that level of control in the wild.

Animality, Reptile then turns into a plant lol and finally Scorpion turns into a... scorpion! I must admit, i'm impressed. The majority are pretty great, specially the homage to classic MK 3 and even Jaws (that was brilliant!) The detail of the blood forming a fountain on Kitana's animality was very cool too.
Kitana’s or Lei Mei’s animalities were the cutest. Peacemaker has the funniest animality. Liu Kang has the coolest animality. Kenshi did a nice tribute to Nightwolf. Omni-Man was a “HOLY 💩!” Animality. Homelander’s animality was just perfect.
Never thought that kitana doing a animality as a hummingbird would be pretty badass 😲 And oh my gosh, of course scorpion becomes literally a scorpion 😂 And Johnny cage is also my favorite. Him being a Hollywood star and having his animality being a shark and reference Jaws is freaking genius! 😄

I think Shang Tsung's cobra animality could be better than just squeeze and decapitate, he already did that in past MK games. Maybe just swallowing and vomiting its victim (as a reference for the Anaconda movie). But I understand that they just keep the original animality as Szyzoth/Reptile 1st fatality already eats and pukes his victim

I love the fact when they change they retain some of their notable physical traits like with the porcupine still having baraka's teeth and the hyena still had canines but with no flesh around it like havik's face lol

All of these look absolutely Beautiful. I'm not a fan of the gameplay of any MK game past MK Trilogy (except for Shaolin Monks) because im old school. However, I give credit to the amazing thought and detail they put into these cinematic Fatalities and Anamalities.
Noob's crocodiles were pretty well tamed for your average crocs, restraining themselves to only biting with the tips of their snouts, you almost never see that level of control in the wild.
Best Animality are Ashrah, Reptile, Takeda, Omniman, and Homelander by far. All the mythical creatures look amazingly animated

I must admit, i'm impressed. The majority are pretty great, specially the homage to classic MK 3 and even Jaws (that was brilliant!) The detail of the blood forming a fountain on Kitana's animality was very cool too.
