If I paid almost $350 for a single dress that is clearly more of a luxury item/ brand, one I would have probably saved up money for, I would expect it to be packaged better. I know many probably don’t care how it’s shipped/ packaged- but I would feel like it takes away from the customer experience if you know what I mean? Plus the return window is very short to me. With this said you looked amazing in everything you got and the fact that you seem happy with your purchase is all that matters in the end 💖

When you said expensive, I thought you meant like Teuta Matoshi expensive (a brand Mia knows very well). I assume the Selkie dresses are not custom made like Matoshi's? If you really want to splurge, I suggest trying a few of THOSE dresses. I'm considering having one made for my wedding. Considering the cost of traditional wedding dresses, Teuta's line is substantially cheaper and a lot prettier.

Idk if it will work for you, but sometimes when I have a necklace that seems hopelessly tangled, I’ll fill a shallow bowl with some lukewarm water and a little bit of dial soap. Put the necklace in the bowl and gently swish it around a little. The soap helps make it slippery and the water lets the chains float and naturally separate a little so that you can start unknotting. It’s such a cute necklace. I hope you were able to fix it!

I got mine in a proper box with selkie logo on it and inside it the dress was properly sealed in a recycled selkie bag. But I believe it was accidentally?! Cause I am seeing so many unboxing reviews where they received it in just a flimsy packages (not boxes)

The Cotswolds is an area in England that people go to take holidays, it’s very countryside, pretty cottages, nature. So I guess imagine you running through a picturesque village in your selkie dresses and you’d be on the money. So the floral print is it.
I’ve noticed that sometimes Hope hypes up some brands/dresses but it doesn’t seem to worth the effort. This while other times there are things that fit and look great on her but she won’t give them the deserved recognition . This brand in particular is very pricey for a badly fitted dresses and they didn’t look that great to be honest. But watching you trying them on it’s fun, thank you 🙏🏻🌸🌿
The dresses you chose are so beautiful! The first one made me think of cotton candy fairy. That necklace is really beautiful, I hope you got it untangled! I'm a jewelry designer and I actually weirdly love untangling jewelry, it's so satisfying when you get it untangled! In the future when you travel with jewelry I would recommend either rolling a piece of paper around the bottom half and taping the paper closed or if you have an extra straw put the necklace through the straw and then close the clasp, those are both methods I've used that make it less likely to tangle.

Of course you look gorgeous in all of them and I was glad you decided to wear the "ball gown" to the event. You looked amazing and it was so you. I spent a good part of my life worrying about how my style was going to attract attention. Now at 63 I am excited to let my personal style be a part of who I am. You keep wearing your ball gowns and expressing yourself through fashion. Our young women need more people to tell them that it's fine to stand out.
