I had these in high school, I don't know if it's your camera but I remember the sole being a lot more Icey and you could actually see the hexalite. Overall it had a lighter cleaner look.This darker blue with cloudy white hexalite has a harsher contrast compared to the originals.And the insole was white.I was going to get these for sure (I still might) but now I Question if I should.These and the the Reebok mustangs(white/red) were my favorite shoes to rock in high school.

I saw an interview where AI mentioned he wasn’t happy with Adidas management when they first took over Reebok, and out of spite, is why he just wears whatever he wants now (AF1s, Jordan’s, etc)

The transparency of Chris is the reason I watch weartesters! I do appreciate it with genuine honestly. I wished the reseller crap would die out and let the sneaker culture be a sneaker culture without all of the flexing...I so wish brands would be more caring about the history and what its representating. It rly is sad that we dont get the same quality stuff but it's more pricey...Doesn't make any else

Caring about making your already-ultra-successful brand of non-essential products (i.e. retro sneakers) the way consumers preferred, also has a price.

I'm so happy I got these. I was laying on the ground next to my son's crib with that 9pm drop when I was putting him to sleep. I had to refresh hella times. I checked like an hour later then they had all the sizes again on Reebok. So strange man.
Man what a bummer. I agree on what you said about MJ and AI not really caring for shoes regardless if their name is on it. Makes me respect Kobe more because the Protro line became a ballsy yet great move (minus the Kobe 4 Protro but I don't think that's his fault)

Most players aren’t as hands on with their shoes as you may think. Like Lebron and Kd and Giannis and PG all just kinda have their name put on a shoe and may have some input but it’s really the brand that does all the design and what not
I'm from Hampton Roads VA and was in middle/hs in the 90s so bubbachuck will always be GOAT for me. People don't realize that aside from the Jordans...Iverson has always had the 2nd most popular shoe. Wish it would get more love. Thanks for not being afraid to criticize. They need it

Questions are up there with any Jordan voted the GSOAT. They are such an all time classically bulky aesthetic Bball shoe.
Also Reebok’s quality has been downhill since they were bought by Adidas I think.

Definitely not off base. Whether you like something or you don't like something, it's a passion. And I think that's why we all come here, because we know whether you like or don't like a shoe for performance or for nostalgia, there's passion behind it. And when you know what the OG product use to feel like in terms of comfort, materials, shape, etc... it just drives that point home. Dope that you were able to get 1 of under 3k pairs. Didn't think it would be that limited.

Nah Chris, you're not hating at all. I totally wanted these before you even mentioned the stock number. It's a bit of a let down though as what I was expecting in the shoe isn't gonna come to fruition like the PU insole. All in all though, if i can find a pair under retail, I'll cop.

I have never owned a pair. One of my beloved nephews offered me a pair of all black with gold for free... I didn't take them since they were a full size too big... I was really bummed, I wish I had just taken them anyway and just double socked them. I love the look of Questions, they bring me back to my early teens when they first released in 96. Thank you for the video, it was nice to reminisce and think of better days. I appreciate everything you put out, it really helps those long days, as an essential worker, it's just been tough during this time. Stay safe and thank you again!!

I understand you and completely agree with you. When you are passionate about something, you necessarily kinda demand other people to at least respect your passion. And the fact of the matter is that Reebok's acts seem *not* to be supportive of the passion of a lot of people into sneakers. The fact that they are a company built for the consumers makes their acts even more reprehensible.
But hey, maybe with your honesty Reebok will take notes!

I have a love hate with the Question Low. I love em but i was wearing the white/grey pair in 2004 when i crashed on a motorvehicle and broke my leg, ankle, and shattered my foot. That day changed my life forever. Ive had 10 surgeries on my ankle since then.
Great review as always! This might have been one of my favorite discussions on TH-cam at all, much less this channel. From the displeasure at this rendition of the shoe, to the availability, to the back and forth about Iverson in relation to his shoe line; just fantastic. I've had a lot of these same thoughts that both of you offered.
On the topic of the actual shoe, they lose me instantly the moment Chris informs me that it's not the original insole. Beautiful colorway, half-hearted release.
Your honesty is what makes the channel awesome. Yes, I feel AI should have a say since he did sign lifetime contract. What if Reebok doesn't sell quite well anymore? Quality is just mediocre. Nice design but could have been way better.

I agree 💯and I really wish that shoe companies would stick to the original design, color ways and premium materials of the shoes when they re-releasing especially after being away for 10, 15, 20+ years. I mean for example I grew up only able to afford one pair of shoes and would love to experience this shoe in it’s original design but I can’t even find myself to buy especially after learning how much they fucked it up after this detailed video. I never owned a pair of Reebok. I was getting amped up with the “Georgetown” ones, but when I saw them in person at a Footlocker, like you said that Hexalite, looked like a plastic decal slapped on the side of it. It was a huge turn-off, on the quality. I wanted to make my first Reebok, special, but NOT with that quality on how it’s made.
Had these as a kid and also my favorite colorway.

I'm a Question lover, but I don't own a pair of 'em since 2005. I can't imagine how they feels now with a fake Hexalite on it. Also I think MJ and AI have little room about decisions on their OG shoes, maybe by contract? The original sin was Reebok throwing away the original product foundations, whoever get a remake after having the originals back in the day will be upset 100%. We all know that after their incapacity to replicate the OG DMX system.

Had no idea these were coming! Its sad that quality is lacking BUT i still have to cop. I had the lows with the baby blue toe around 7th grade. Then i copped the all white lows my freshman year in HS. They were mad comfy. Cant wait! Over time I plan to cop all the colorways i like. Netver seen the oatmeal color but tuese are too clean.

I have been waiting for the Nike Darwin, Dennis Rodman. Black with the white lace area. I remember having those, they have premium leather. In just a beast of a shoe. They need to retro those!

I heard that they will be releasing the kamikaze 2's in the near future again and I am hoping that they dont cut any corners with them since it is one of my favorite models of all time.The last wave of retros I picked up over a couple dozen pairs of the original colorways.

This was my fav color way from back in the day as well! I been waiting on these to release again & I missed em. Got the Denver nuggets, & I agree quality control isn't there like back in the days stuffs crooked, glue spots, bumps on mid sole... Still my all time fav shoe 🤷🏻

I was waiting so long to get a pair and come release day like you said I couldn’t get a pair. Walked in to my mall none to be found anywhere.....then I go into a “designer” store and they’re just sitting there and I grabbed 1 of 6 pairs they had( my pair is sz 8.5 btw). Also my pair doesn’t have the crooked back piece.

Jordan line became iconic because of Tinker Hatfield and Jordan endorsement. The only player I know of who takes their sneaker game like their basketball game is the Late Kobe Bryant. I miss you Kobe even though I’m not a fan. You would have make the protro line the best performer out there.
