In my opinion (since I have studied them both in my learning days), spiritually inclined people would benefit much more by studying Jiddu Krishnamurti than spending any time on George Gurdjieff! I would await Dr Sahib's comment on this! p.s. Although Jiddu was (and still is) my #1 Guru, who taught me most of what I know today, I am not biased in any way. I hold both of these in high regard! Gurdjieff, however, is no match for J.K.

JK was undoubtedly a teacher par excellence and he would never agree with the other definition of guru, which he never was.

In the West some don´t want to take Gurdjieff really serious because Gurdjieff claimed that Muhammad was in fact a great prophet! And they say Gurdjieff is fake because of this claim!!! Gurdjieff also claimed that Moses invented the "Chosen People" claim and that GOD has nothing to do with such crap. Read Ouspensky´s "In Search of the Miraculous" - "Views from the Real World" - "Meetings with Remarkable Men".

JK spent his whole life convincing others that he is not guru. He is just mirror to observe yourself.
