A lot of elitists won't like this, but I approve. If you already have ramen at home, fancying it up with bacon and eggs is an excellent choice.

In my eyes, the opinion of elitists is mostly invalid. Enjoy food your own way, as long as it doesn't look like Cooking With Jack made it

Elitist isn't the word. Try traditionalist or purist. Less about being better than others and more about disliking change or variation.

@@3xeplodng_3agle_studiosExcept said people often tend to think that they *are* better than others because they dislike change.

@@ASDAPOI never met a change-averse person who also had a superiority complex.
Sure it can happen, but its not as common as your perspective seems to lead you to believe.
In the case of change-averse people, its more about denial. They don't want to be wrong about their perspective, because if they're wrong about one thing, they "could be" wrong about others. Or everything. It ruins their worldview and makes them spiral. Their psychological _"safe space"_ is "under attack" So instead, they choose bluster(making themself seem bigger, better or stronger than they are), denial, and deflection. The mental equivalent of _"lalalalala I can't hear you, I can't hear you so you must be wrong!"_ Followed by _"well, you were wrong, so that makes me right by default. Now shut up and go away little wrong person"_
Learning psych, and dealing with a PTSD suffering family member on a daily basis will show you that rather clearly.
They all look similar and have similar traits and reactions to that which inconveniences their worldview, but they're all exhibiting those things for different reasons.
An elitist is usually one who chooses their behavior. Not always, but usually. It only becomes a condition once it becomes an unconscious habit. Real elitists are also often sociopaths.

      They aren't mutually exclusive.
A traditionalist saying "this is good but I'd rather you called it something else because traditionally ....." Is annoying, but not the same as "this is bad because it's not traditional" which is the guy nobody wants to be around. That person is an elitist traditionalist but it's the elitist part that puts them over the line.
