I’m Scottish. I live just 15 minutes from Glasgow and 1 hour from Edinburgh. I love Skye and the fairy pools they are a magical place. All of Scotland is the Highlands and the Lowlands we Scots don’t really appreciate what we’ve got half the time. Maybe you’ll get the opportunity to visit us one day. Take care 😘🏴
Like the other guys say - forget London. It is really expensive. Get a flight into Manchester.. It is cheaper,, and you can get to anywhere in the country from there.
To any Americans, please don't visit London and think you've seen England or the UK, there is so much more. London is a great place but it's not very representative of the UK and you really should experience the seaside, an old castle, a village pub and some of the other cities.
I’m Scottish and have been to some of the places he mentioned. As impressive as they are, there are so many more beautiful places throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland that are also well worth a visit. Hopefully you’ll make it over soon to see for yourself.
Definately recomend Cornwall or Devon in the summertime expensive an you do need to book in advanced but it is the most tropical vibe part of the country and the villages have great places to eat local cuisine usually seafood with tons of farmed goods being used in these food establishments aswell, also the beaches are so good A cool little place to visit is brixham great little port town tons of history fun night life an its got great seafood, crack open a beer on the night and just chill (loads of apple orchards aswell around somerset which isnt far from devon recomend visiting so you can get a taste of the fresh ciders they have) Or if you are looking for off season places Scotland is perfect for the winter time if you wanna get a taste of the great Caledonian Northern vibe Or even the Lake district as mentioned in the video its beautiful! The UK is so pact with so many interesting places their are people who only holiday here and still havent experienced everything to offer its insane how much there is to see! Not to mention Wales, that have some of the only sand dunes in the country and have a bunch of our cool costal plants that are succulents an sand lizards!
Yes, we do go. Went to Uni in North Wales. Camped around various places in Snowdonia. Rolling hills, green grass, waterfalls and sheep. Been to Devon and Cornwall a few times, taking my sister's boys to experience the Atlantic Gulf Stream and turquoise blue waters, in contrast to The North Sea Coast that they were used to. Lake district has a different type of light with its weather. Then there is always the Rivers, Dales and Moors of Yorkshire. From Yorkshire
Irelands "dark hedges" are more impressive, but for the algorithm ill comment: the highest hedges in the world are in Scotland come visit man. come stay its safer and healthier in every respect. Scotland needs people (i cant say for everyone else) if anyone is planning to visit Scotland know accommodation in the summer is at a premium. book ahead, or hire a camper van (RV) and use that as your accommodation and transport.
The narrator's AI style voice spoilt it with all the mispronunciation of the places but at least it gave you some glimpses into some of our lovely places. I notice he couldn't pronounce Mont Saint-Michel in France correctly either! I doubt the narrator had ever been to many of these places because he would have known how to pronounce them had he visited them. Also he said Buttermere Lake instead of Lake Buttermere. In the UK we always say e.g. River Thames not Thames River, River Avon not Avon River, Lake Dewentwater, not Derwentwater Lake, Loch Ness, not Ness Lock, Loch Lomond not Lomond Loch. Harlech Castle not Castle Harlech etc. He never mentioned that Edinburgh is close to the sea, that's something a lot of tourists don't realise. As for the way he said viaduct, it beggars belief.
The narrator has definitely been to all those places. It’s his own footage, and in some instances, he borrowed his friend’s drone to get the aerial shots. He says that in another video. There are lots of clips of him in the locations too. His mispronunciations are incredibly annoying, but I actually think he has a speech impediment and possibly dyslexia because he even mispronounces some common words.
That's a very absolute statement. Especially considering the latest England and Wales census with regards to British, English or Welsh only identities, 54.8% (32 million people) chose British only national identity. This Brit was one of them. Although I'm actually Yorkshire first lol. Considering the population of the UK as a whole is 68.35 million, which includes people who are non native residents too, you can extrapolate that at least 50% consider themselves to be British only, and many more would consider themselves to be both British and English/Welsh/Scottish or N.Irish. The statistics certainly prove your assumption wrong that the majority don't like being referred to as British. YOU may not like it, but it appears you're in the minority.
I'm British and English and I don't mind being called either, I'm proud to be called British because I don't mind being grouped with the other countries that make up Britain they all are great countries with great traditions.

That was just a snapshot, so much more to the UK than that .

I go to Cornwall twice a year if not more. It's a 4 1/2 hour drive but well worth it.😊

Also, his pronunciation of “viaduct” is the US way of saying it, which (as much as I hate to admit it 😂😂) would be the way it is pronounced in Latin.
stop saying Bro please.....love your content but Bro is killing me

You can call me British or English, I don't care which.
I couldn't give a monkey's if I'm referred to as English or British. I mean, why on earth would I be offended at THAT, it just seems a tad "anal"?!!
I'm Welsh I don't mind being called British...
