Calle Mayor - Choan Gálvez, ukulele in taro patch tuning

Calle Mayor is the name of a street in my hometown where I spent many hours in my late teens and early twenties. Busking (when I used to play classical guitar) or just hanging around with friends. It's also the location of two of my long time favourite bars, El refugio del crápula and Entalto, which were instrumental places in my late teens.
In this piece I use taro patch tuning (G C E G), also known as open C. The tablature is among the twelve originals in seven different tunings included in Anthology of Alternate Ukulele Tunings. This tune has two well differentiated sections, the first in the style of an habanera, the second shaped as a waltz (heavily influenced by Kaai). It's dedicated to Catherine Goykhman.
