I think the reason why jaw matters more according to this logic is because having a strong well defined jaw is more rare than having attractive eyes. An attractive persons eyes will look more attractive simply because they have good facial features. You could interchange eyes on an attractive face and they will still be attractive, but change an attractive persons jaw to a recessed jaw and its over.

I have an underbite which disturbs my whole face. My upper jaw is recessed, my tongue goes beyond my upper teeth and my lower jaw is too forwardly placed which makes my face weird and flat combined with recessed upper jaw. I think the reason why jaw matters more according to this logic is because having a strong well defined jaw is more rare than having attractive eyes. An attractive persons eyes will look more attractive simply because they have good facial features. You could interchange eyes on an attractive face and they will still be attractive, but change an attractive persons jaw to a recessed jaw and its over.
