- Highlights of ranked games in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Velvet Shell including me showing how versatile the IQ frag grenades are. They are great at a lot more things than killing people and that is why it was such a big buff to IQ. You can also see defenders on their cameras with her gadget now but I didn't get the opportunity to kill someone that way yet. Winterfell holosights are intangible in this game and micd are visible but not actually an item you can use in the game, because of this IQ doesn't detect them.

Most modern Holo sights do not need batteries except for illumination. And the batteries needed are often very weak.

Another way to hold an angle, but still be the one peeking is this right here. So the goal here is to hold an insanely narrow angle that will make it impossible for you or the enemy to use. The only way you're gonna use it is for information. Once you see the enemy crossing from one side to the other, prefire at head level for some nasty kills. All you need for this is okay reaction time and some good recoil management. Honesty guys, it's very rare that you're going to lose that duel. It's absolutely disgusting.

still think you shouldn't be able to see friendly electronics.
You lose the authenticity that way. Since the only "friendly" things you see are regular drones and twitch drones, it's easy to identify what NOT to shoot.
it makes it so you cant just shoot anything you detect. and besides it makes it more realistic. like maybe thatchers teammates have emp resistence or something since he doesnt effect them. but IQ gagdet detects anything that "runs on batteries" theres no way to not get scanned.

realism? my point wasn't realism. It was practicality. Rainbow 6 is a interpretation of real life terrorist scenarios. While it tries to stay true to the idea, its a game and some things need to be tweaked. While we may not have a device to scan footprints currently. The logic behind it makes it possible in the future. being able to detect friendly gadgets as IQ is logical, why won't she be able to? does all her teammates have a cloaking device? even if they can do it why? its your buddy scanning it not the enemy. the game tends to apply logic more then realism, such as a Female Navy Seal. Logically it can happen, but currently there is none.

But your channel is an exception for me, I love watching you play Rainbow Siege cause it teaches me SO much! 5:00 Watching him play, this is like me in being ranked diamond vs a casual. The outplay was such a reflex, just something we do without even thinking about it, it comes natural. Causes a distraction by popping the window and flanks the door for a quick headshot, like a knife through butter, loved seeing that shit bro, good job.

4:10 what's the point of shooting xkairos in a black mirror? you can shot them right under the mirror and have pretty nice vaultable hole because usually it destroys the mirror as well :/ I feel like i'm the only one who realizes this o.O

For some reason, I'm really not digging the IQ frags. Since I hardly ever kill with explosive gadgets, the limited ammo of 2 is really taxing, and so I find breaching charges to be a much better option. I used to actually rock stun grenades for a more flanker-type playstyle so that I can get a better edge on dangerous roamers like Jaeger, Bandit, and Caveira. Frags are slower to deploy, so I can't really go that route, anymore. I'm still maining IQ, though!

I disagree.. Echo is often used wrong. Don't use the 'stun' immediately. Only use the drone for information or to set up a trap. Admittedly, his assault rifle is a bit of a pea-shooter, but his shotgun is very good in the correct situation. Personally, I don't roam with Echo and I think that if Ubisoft increased the speed and decreased the armour of Echo, he would be only used as a roamer. This is not what we want at Ubisoft. He is very useful as he can relay information to the rest of the team. No spotting on his drone puts emphasis on team communication and call-outs. If he gets a buff, I believe it will be to his weapons and possibly how much his drone 'stuns' people. I do not think it would be to do with speed and armour.

IQ with grenades? Welp I'm going back to her as my main, was using Thatcher since Dust Line or so as he was basically necessary in a team, but this gave me hope that IQ is no longer only another Ash w/o GL and a Pulse counter.
