Fun Cardio & Strength HIIT Workout for Women Over 50

  • 💓 This workout is SO MUCH FUN! It alternates between old school floor aerobics and simple dumbbell exercises for a full body workout for women over 50. Of course, anyone at any age can do this, but I wanted to make something especially for the ladies in my age group. I used to teach floor aerobics in group fitness classes many moons ago. I know my crew from those days will enjoy this one.
    You only need one set of dumbbells too, but if you have a variety to use that is even better.
    Unfortunately, I don't have access to a music library where I'm free to use the music I wanted for this workout so if you don't like what I used (which TH-cam provides for creators), then just mute the sound and put on your own tunes at home.

    Remember, fitness shouldn't feel painful. Modify exercises as needed. Focus on being mindful of your movements. Practice engagement. Slowly increase intensity over time with longer holds, more reps, and maybe use heavier dumbbells once you're feeling stronger and pain-free in your movements.

    Great workout Tammy!! Love the mix of weights and cardio moves (need some practice with the moves) but I had fun doing it which is what I needed today!

    Ok I really loved this . I got a good sweat on . Not a fan of aerobics even back in the day but this was fun.. loved going from cardio to weights.. I am so happy cause I am not avoiding those god awful lunges anymore. Can't get all the way down but I can do them .
    Your tip is so true.. I never use your weight or go at your pace.. 😅 I can't..I know what I can handle .. There is no shame in using lighter weights or not jumping
