sorry for the delay (almost a year xd) but getting all the chips and ending up looking at strategies against deluxe bass left me a bad taste but still complete, the 3rd part the following year xd

It's the Wood Guts style. BN2 has a style system that is determined by your busting habits (for the form) and by RNG (for the element). Since the player uses his Buster a ton, it makes sense that he got Wood Guts.
This game also has Custom (use a ton of regular chips each turn), Team (use a bunch of Navi chips), and Shield (use a bunch of barrier chips). The forms do the following and get better from use:
-Guts doubles Firepower while minimizing rapid. BN2 also gives it Super Armor.
-Custom boosts the number of chips at your disposal on the custom screen.
-Team allows for more Navi Chips in your folder.
-Shield gives you blocking capabilities (i.e., a barrier at the start of the match, blocking with correct timing, etc.).
As for the elements:
-Heat gives you a Flamethrower charge shot.
-Aqua gives you a Bubbler charge shot.
-Elec gives you a Zap Ring charge shot.
-Wood gives you a Wood Tornado charge shot.
The anime has the pairs Heat Guts, Wood Shield, Elec Team, and Aqua Custom. These are the forms that Battle Chip challenge use (the library of that game is primarily BN2 chips with Navis from the first 3 games).
There's also a secret form that you get if you S Rank all V3 bosses (Hub Style, you see it used in the fight against Bass Deluxe). This one halves your HP, but you get all of the pros of the other forms while making you keep the normal element (all of the other styles make you have a weakness to an element). You only get one chance to get this style, so you will need to save it over one of the two slots, or else you lose it for good.
BN3 later refined these 4 forms, removed the secret form, and added 3 new forms. The new forms are Bug style (you get random computer bugs that are both good and bad each match, obtained by glitching the Navi customizer), Ground style (White exclusive form that affects the terrain, obtained by using terrain chips), and Shadow style (Blue exclusive form that makes your charge shot Invis, obtained by using Invis a lot). Using the styles gets you extra parts, so there are incentives to obtain each style (though you can only hold one style this time).
Styles also have unique chips.
-Normal gets the Fighter, Knight, and Hero/Paladin Swords. Only Hero returns in BN3, and it likely doesn't require you to be non-elemental as it's a Mega Chip now.
-The other styles get those fancy elemental chips (Big Red Wave, Freeze Bomb, Sparker, and Gaia Sword). They can only be used when the element matches. BN3 had different elemental chips.
Generally speaking, the secret style in 2 and Aqua Custom in both are the best styles.

Ellos ya llevan los primeros 3 juegos y estan ya al 71% si no me equivoco con Battle network 4 (si preguntan por las diferentes versiones a partir del 3 traducen las 2 versiones)
Ellos tambien subtitulan el anime y CREO hasta le estan haciendo fan doblaje (ojo eso ultimo si que no lo confirmo)
En las traducciones de los juegos te dan los chips de eventos especiales
