Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. I trust in God and keep faith even as I struggle to take care of my children and myself. As a single mother things are so hard on me. Both of my sons are autistic I’m overwhelmed. God please hear my prayers. I’m constantly struggling to buy groceries and constantly struggling to pay rent I’m ashamed and overwhelmed. But I choose to have faith over fear as christians that’s all we can do. No matter your struggle, we can turn to God. He knows us personally and can give us strength to overcome our challenges. Heavenly and merciful Father, I come before your glorious throne today, in humble adoration please help me overcome my struggles and my constant fear of homelessness. Amen! ❤
Someone asked how to discern between fear and worry and godly unrest. I’m going to presume that godly unrest is another way of describing a lack of peace. In other words, you don’t have peace about something or God has not given you peace about the situation or decision. Fear, worry, and doubt are indicators not of God, but of the flesh. There is a lack of trust. Which indicates then an error in focus. Fear, doubt, and worry tell me that I am focused on what I can see, on my five senses. I’m focused on the circumstances at hand, and the concern that my needs are not going to be met or……… Anytime, we feel fear, doubt and worry, we should hear an alarm bell that we are not looking at the goodness of God, that we are not convinced of his goodness, his care, his love for us. When our eyes are removed from the situation, our five senses, the circumstances, and put back on Him and his goodness, then we are able to discern whether or not there is peace for that situation. As Barry is teaching here, meditating on, and becoming convinced of his goodness, his love, his care, his provision, all his promises toward us is essential to stepping out of the carnal mind (focused on the natural/emotional) and stepping into the mind of Christ, into the spirit. And into peace. Remember, fear, doubt, and worry are not of God! I think of a lack of peace as an unsettledness, but it is completely devoid of negative emotion. God is the author of love not fear.😊
I’ve been helping a family in Africa and I’m poor. The lady always needs meds or food and now I’m starting to think she is using me. I pray for God to show me if she’s scamming me. I have not gotten confirmation. How does this work if God does not respond? I’m trying to do what his word says. She claims Jesus. She is dry begging

In Philippians 4:7, is this verse telling us who the Holy Spirit is? It says in kjv, “ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. “ I looked up in the concordance on the word passeth. It shows in it that not only does it mean to surpass something, but that it also means to pass along one or more things to another person. We know that peace is comfort. Jesus said He would not leave us comfortless. Jesus said He was praying the Father sends us the Spirit of truth. Therefore, if I replace to word peace with comforter, the word passeth to mean to pass along, and the word through to mean both through and because: this verse would read like this, “ And the comforter of God, which passes along all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through and because of Christ Jesus.” Am I understanding this right or am I rewriting this verse wrong and understanding it wrong? Could you tech again on the Lords Supper, “For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” I Corinthians 11:29 NKJV. Such a bad understanding of this out there.

The word Faith there as a fruit, doesn’t make sense. God is not Faith, but He is Faithful. The word there makes more sense as faithful/faithfulness
