Thanks for the tutorial, for those who were wondering how to randomize notes without Autoplay, you can drop an Arpeggiator, a Random and a Scale MIDI effects before Vital. I personally add a little bit of Ping Pong Delay as well, and even a Gate. Hope that'll be useful.
Kudos for the insightful five-star full-screen BS-free tutorial without the relatively-useless, distracting and often annoying talking head, daftly smushed into some section of the screen (as if it might be as much about narcissism and/or cult-of-personality) and competing with Vital(/etc.) and we students' attention and patience.
Man just as I closed ableton and went to bed, you come up with this super tutorial :D guess it has to wait till tomorrow, made sure to like it and put it on watch later!
this sounds really cool! regarding the other sounds in the project any chance you can break down some of those? i love the one that seems to always be going up, some sort of sherpards tone effect?
I can figure out how to make the same noise than you at 2.04m do you use vital juste as a filter or the sound come from vital osilator ? wich note are you playing then ?
@Mute Production did you use percs that hit every 16th? Man that bass is so knocky. Reminds me of no clouds at all and agony of discipline of ivort. I never seem to be able to get that tone :D
that’s strange, i’m interested to know where it stops working? i wonder if it’s behaviour has changed in an update or something. If your still after the table i can provide it via discord or maybe email or something
yes up to a point. it sounds different though. you can tell serum to resample a band pass sweep and get that squelching easily but the inharmonic stretch is not available in serum
when i make it, it doesn't sound like how it does in the beginning of your video, is this because i dont use autoplay? or did you add other things outside of the video. i want to make it only using free plugins
@@MuteProductionI have the same issue as well... Can you provide us with the timings or the probability you've set on autoplay? Better yet, if we could simply get a screenshot of the setup on Autoplay, I think it would be identical to the sound at the beginning of the video

Yet again such a unique tutorial dude.
Man just as I closed ableton and went to bed, you come up with this super tutorial :D guess it has to wait till tomorrow, made sure to like it and put it on watch later!
fantastic find. didn't know vital could do this.
I'm a simple fella, see Mute's new tutorial - press Like !
Top stuff as usual, much love, keep 'em coming
Awesome, thanks mate. I never saw squelch technique like this one 👌
This is ultimate tutorial...Many thanks to you 😇😇
Cheers mute. I need to learn more about editing wavetables. This is good.

Beautiful.

That was fun. So good for a free program.
Thanks, this was really nice
Vital is amazing ❤️🔥
Love it !!!
🤯🤩🙏🎛🕉 really powerful what effects are you using (delay reverb) stocks are another ?
the squelch just has dotted 8th ping pong delay :)
@@MuteProduction thks
Okayyy so these things are called squelches 😎😎⚡
a brand new world right?
I can figure out how to make the same noise than you at 2.04m do you use vital juste as a filter or the sound come from vital osilator ? wich note are you playing then ?
Killa 🔥
Fire!!
Yo thanks !!
👉👍and those squelch effects can be created in some synthesizer for example the virus ti2 or some other....🤔😐😶
yes
Rabbit hole discovered. Thank you.
is this knocking a layer of the bass or part of the basssynth? sounds quite tasty!
i don’t layer my basses so it will be part of the synthesis :)
@Mute Production did you use percs that hit every 16th? Man that bass is so knocky. Reminds me of no clouds at all and agony of discipline of ivort. I never seem to be able to get that tone :D
@@king_thin iirc multipass with transient shapers was the trick with this bass
@Mute Production thanks man. I just discovered your tutorials a few days ago and already my skills have improved so much. Thank you!
@@king_thin that’s great to hear man :) Glad you like the content!
epic!!!
Am interested to know what your delay setting procedure for this was.. Presumably it was Vitals delay and/or reverb?
i tend to use dotted delays :) likely an 8th or 4th
@@MuteProduction Nice I usually use 8th dotted also, I should try 4th for a change :)
Super
That's good shit
How can i create this sounds on FL Studio Mobile?
can it support vital? if not it might be difficult
I can't seem to reproduce the wavetable, is there a place we can find this preset?
Edit: I just forgot to normalise the bandpass lmao
same
that’s strange, i’m interested to know where it stops working? i wonder if it’s behaviour has changed in an update or something. If your still after the table i can provide it via discord or maybe email or something
@@MuteProduction ah well I tried one week later and didn't update this comment 🤣
can this be done in serum?
not really, but you can import the wavetable into serum from vital
yes up to a point. it sounds different though. you can tell serum to resample a band pass sweep and get that squelching easily but the inharmonic stretch is not available in serum

are you randomizing the velocity? all autoplay is doing is randomly generating midi notes with random velocity.
@@MuteProduction i followed everything to the end of the video, but when i add it in one of my projects, it doesn’t sound rigut
@@kleppie11 hmm, is it the right octave?
@@MuteProductionI have the same issue as well... Can you provide us with the timings or the probability you've set on autoplay? Better yet, if we could simply get a screenshot of the setup on Autoplay, I think it would be identical to the sound at the beginning of the video
@@hippiemonk13 You can reach the same result by placing : Arpeggiator, Random and Scale before Vital.
mute production I don't get the same effect as yours that I need....
did you still not manage to make it?
@@MuteProduction no
@@MuteProductionmaybe you put something in the effects option
uuahh, i think i just came...
Wow that is sick!
