I just got a Matsey Striga andit's probably the best little knife I have ever handled...love their designs...
David Chen has a ton of designs from CH, Petrified Fish, Two Sun, and others. That knife you have is $26.99 for anyone interested.
Might have to pick up one of these raccoons. I bought one of the original ones with a button lock and it is an absolute banger. I know some had issues with the button lock but mine has been solid as a vault! It has been a great work knife.

They decided to do the Matsey Lynxes in Magnacut not M390. It is in the little screen capture of the specs you put up though. I think Bestech tends to go around 62hrc on that.

Flipping a knife open is at the bottom of wants for me. The metal and the thickness of the blade is at the top.

The dual grind on the Matsey is super smart to me .exactly what I been thinking of . Keeping the tip stout enough and a slicy blade. I think its Cool
That wepe blade and design is very similar to the sokoke which is an amazing user that upswept tip is so useful, good looking g 10 on there as well…..

Lynx looks cool AF, but for the price, I could buy a firearm. 3, 4, even 5 hundred dollars isn't a problem. But over 7 hundred - no way.

As long as the blade doesn't bounce back into open lock, the double clutch is no biggie. But yeah, twosun puts ramps in where they shouldn't as well.
340 for for a framelock with 60rc or below m390 or 62 and below magnacut (is it even using cryo)? Not a fat chance. Bestech I assume? Bestech tax plus 2 designers tax, plus low value heat treatment. Low value, high price toy.

@@ericpitre4031I'm still not convinced it's actually a better steel than m390. Like say 61hrc magna vs 60hrc m390, numbers I'd typically expect.
That clip screams association with twosun.
That sharpening choil and plunge grind on the wepe is one of the best I've ever seen. It's so damn sexy. Other companies need to take notes.
What’s Kubey’s excuse for not being able to dial in a detent? I’ve bought 6 different Kubey budget knives from $70 to $50, and all 6 I’ve had to return b/c the detent is so weak that the knife falls open without even using the flipper tab 😂😂. No more Kubey’s ever again for me!!

Neeves Knives" and you mentioned what your lovely wife was doing. I really liked that. Recently, I started to watch some knife videos again, but you don't start out your video like you used to. Can anybody explain why knife manufacturers still use T6’s? I’ve never heard anyone say they liked those on a knife
If i were to guess it would be because theyre easier to get into small places, such as on clips. Other than that maybe price?

The Wepe knife looks like a solid budget knife. The raccoon is a solid offering as well now that they fixed the lock issues they had really like some of Vosteed's knives. The Lynx is a great looking design, the inlay looks well done and really like the grind they did on the blade. Not a fan of subscription boxes but the going gear at least gives you your money's worth by the look of it. Just would rather buy what I like vs having a surprise and mayby a double of something I already have or get something that I won't use at all. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.
Another tipoff from Neeves on that Lynx. Ordered mine this morning. That's probably the fifth knife I've been tipped off from here. Keep up the good work!
