Morning guys! I am starting to pack for Walt Disney World so will take you along with the process. Any tips, must haves are always welcome. I also have a Costco trip booked in soon with my Mum. Hooray! So will have a nose at the Easter stuff. The sun is shining here in Birmingham today. Whatever you are up to have the most amount of fun. Lots of love xxx
NO! Taking a photo of outfits is not insane! I do that when I’m trying things on for a holiday. Also, a photo will give you a different perspective of how it looks vs a mirror (well, it does for me 😂). It also makes it easier to pack, you can just look back at the photos and grab only what you LOVE on you 👏🏻

TIP! Hi Emma, I’ve used airtags for my suitcases. It’s always nice to board the plane and see that your bags are back “with you” again, and also when landing. I use the same airtags for my keys after so it’s not like a one time thing either. And if you get them direct from apple, you can get them monogrammed for no extra charge ;) I’ve used them for a couple of trips now and also everyday with my bags and keys and I highly recommend them!

Oh my gosh Emma… lists are my life! Where would we be without one! Totally get you being worried in case something goes wrong and you can’t go… My boy is recovering from surgery and my daughter is on a waiting list to have surgery so we’re hoping and praying her operation date doesn’t come through until after our holiday! Love the packing cubes, they look amazing…..x

Lists are an essential part of the packing process, I love a good list for pretty much anything. I don’t think the outfit photos are insane I think it’s a brilliant idea.

Definitely not insane, it’s a great idea! I take outfit photos before any holiday I go on, even if it’s just a little weekend away! It helps me to not overpack and not stress about what to wear when I get there, Or to not forget to wear something hurried in the bottom of my suitcase. And it’s a great confidence boost to already know what you’re gunna wear and know already how fabulous you look in it, no second guessing!
Yes! It also feels like what a real housewife may do 🤣

T-Rex is amazing! We went when we got stuck (and had an extra day holiday) due to the hurricane in 2019. Bit like Rainforest Cafe but my 3 boys loved it! Also, stealing the photo idea!!! 👌

If taking a photo of your outfits helps you then it's a great thing to do! My dad has photos of what ties go best with his collared shirts for work so he doesn't have to think about what to wear.

I love the Landry Card, we have used it for Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex and Bubba Gumps. When you are seated the manager should come over to you to make sure everything is ok… I wouldn’t go to Florida without it now
I take photos and make files in my photo gallery in my phone for each day. When my husband wakes up he says so what do you want me to wear today ,lol. When you get to Disney everything I find goes so fast, you don’t need to waste time on your wardrobe. I would rather do it leisurely at home when you can enjoy the planning 💜.
We love our Landry’s card. It is a great deal. It’s always nice to hear your server say you have points on your card for $25 off your bill. Love packing videos. I hope you show more. 🥰

This is the vlog of dreams, I've been waiting for it for ages. If you don't make a list for everything are you even a woman. I have to make a list for everything otherwise thing will be forgotten. We are off 2 weeks today, and I started packing my sons stuff too yesterday. Can't sit to be there after 2 years of cancellations. We are being ultra careful, masks if we go anywhere, and lateral flow tests every few days. I'm not having covid ruin this trip for us. I've never been Disney so an super excited and will probably cry when we finally get there. Oh, and if you need any extra packing cubes, poundland are doing the big ones in the travel section.
I'm going in 8 weeks time and your making me want to get our cases down and start packing!

Do it. Take the photos. I actually do that every time I put a new outfit together. Then I have albums for each season. Helps when I’m stressed in the morning and can’t figure out an outfit. It will change your life! Do it!
Yes, to taking outfit pics. The first time we went to Florida I'd got a list of all my outfits combos, the only thing was it was in a notebook left at home 🙈 That first frantic morning I was so thrown I couldn't think how to dress myself for a minute 🤣 Have a magical time 🖤❤💛

I live an hour away from Orlando. We spent last week there for spring break (it feels like a different world over there). It’s already getting hot in Florida! So a personal fan and one of those cooling towels are a must for this 50 year old. Also, if you’ve never done any of the Disney mini golf courses, they’re fun!

I think it’s a great idea to take photos of your outfits! I’ve seen people recommending doing that for every day life on instagram. Love your boys outfits. Have you tried next or h and m for fun smart shirts I’ve seen a few nice ones. Not old fashioned to want them looking smart for a nice meal or outing .As I think they can be trendy and still smart. Thanks for showing one person at a time . Looking forward to seeing your stylish ensemble your going to take with you.
We used our Landry Card last time we were in Florida and it was fab. No queuing at Bubba Gumps when the queue was massive was a big win 👍🏻

I have been at Easter before, it was colder than I thought it would be. So make sure you take something to layer!
It's pouring rain here too. We're crossing border to US today and need a rapid test to get back. With you on the nerves. Don't want to get stranded. April 1sr we can cross with no test. Yay🎉 Other than 13 days last December it's been 2 yrs since we could cross with no test. We still have to fill out an online form on an app though.🌈🇨🇦
I'd be interested in learning a bit more of how you book/plan your rides and how you visit each park if you get time for that.
Emma, my kids are 32, 30 an 28 and I was finally made to quit stuffing Christmas stockings for them (none live at home) 2 years ago. Enjoy it as long as they let you. 🥰

Saw some lovely Rae Dunn packing cubes in TK Maxx the other day but have loads already! When we went at Christmas I didn't pack til the night before as worried we would test positive. It was so stressful and thought all cases were overweight and left half the stuff at home only to realise I was so stressed I was reading the scales in pounds not kilos!

Omg a Emma! What a bloody good idea taking pics of outfits! That’s genius!!! Also, I know you’ve told us before but what highlighter do you use, I need it in my life xxxxxxxx I have 2 boys and always used to get them short sleeve shirts with chino or denim shorts from Zara. My 2 are older teens now (14 & 17) and I’m dreading packing for this summers holidays obviously we’ve not done it for a while, probably the last one with my eldest for a while (☹️) but the biggie lives in jeans & tee’s & my youngest always wants to live in tracksuit bottoms (😭) I used to love, love, love buying outfits and packing them together. Enjoy every second of them being this age, it whizzes by when they get to secondary school. 🥺😢🥺

A mummy tip. Take photos on your phone of your kids in their outfits every morning. That way if you happen to lose them you can look at your photo instead of trying to remember. Mind's go blank when you're in a blind panic.
I lost my boy when at a zoo and when the staff asked what he was wearing I couldn't think. I couldn't even remember if he was wearing short or trousers.
All was well in the end. He wasn't fussed at all. It took me a whole day to get over it. 😄

Not at all to take photos of what you want to wear...there is even apps that can help you to organise and plan your outfits for the day!
I’ve got packing cubes and it will be the first time I use them as before I would layer the clothes and Vac pac them taking some in my carry on so that if a bag got lost we all had some clothes and we are hopefully going this may I’m like dreading getting to two days before and one of us testing positive then it’s off it’s such a worry but I’m trying to stay positive that things will change and it will all be fine I haven’t even put out my Disney countdown for fear of it all going wrong this pandemic has definitely put a spanner in the works were once we could get so excited about plans for things only to change so here’s praying we can all get our Disney fix it’s been too long x

I remember one holiday to the English seaside I had put all my husbands pants in the dryer. I told him to get them out, he thought I had. We then spent to days shopping for mens pants 🤯

We have 6 months till we go for Halloween. I'm excited! To far to put any real plans in place but I have plans in note book, on my phone. Your not crazy. My daughter is 7 and we have outfit idea. Need packing cubes have been debating whether or not. Love a list the only way for me to remember and be organised. We are finally travelling to Disney at the end of May after lots of changes due to covid lockdowns. It’s looking promising we will finally get there 🤞🤞🤞Exciting times for everyone and I am also going to a first time grandma before we go. My Disney loving daughter is due a baby boy at the end of April and as you can imagine can’t wait to buy baby Disney things 😍

I think if you had 4 people you could probably get away with two packs - maybe 3 x

Argh. I'm going the same time as you and am nowhere near as organised. In my defence, I've been trying to get coursework done. Also, my boys are 14 and 12 and have money burning a hole in their pockets ready to spend in the outlets.
