During the start of Spring we visited to this cute fairytale city in Germany called Idstein. This is perfect for a day trip if you are nearby like in Frankfurt, and you can explore the unique beauty of the architecture around the city in few hours. We visited Idstein while we were heading back to Netherlands from Cochem since we thought that would be a nice experience for us to witness these beautiful patchwork timber framed houses.
This place is a wonderful location to visit during the Christmas season too.
