I definitely don't have the skill for a perfect restoration yet, but I'm hoping it turns out well!

LOL windlace is the trim around the doors. The word you had in mind is probably "listing", the cloth channels the bows slide into. Take your time with stuff. Apparently only one company makes perforated headliner material...that has the same brand on the back of it as my Mopar headliners.

Best way to do that is use binder clips to hold the headliner in place as you stretch it and glue it. You really gotta pull on it and it might start detaching with just the adhesive. Just did mine recently and it worked great.

This is the best advice. I did one on a 73 Charger SE. Did mine in 2016 I think about 26 years old at the time it was a little intimidating but I used some of those little black paper clips around and just kept pulling starting in the middle and it really went pretty smooth.

I’m doing a 71 nova’s head liner. Thanks for the video.
If you doing the heater core, it’s not that bad but do it prior to doing your carpet.

Very nice. How did you know what hole the bows went in to? Bought my car with them out and not sure the correct hole for each bow. Bummer

Kept them in line when I took them out 😅. Best bet is to test fit them in the roof before putting them in the headliner, then keep them in position when its time to put em in the headliner.
