What do you think about this skirt? I hope this is an easy solution when you don't have the time to sew a whole dress for prom! 💜

Even tho you made this 2 years ago it is very on trend 2024. I am over 60 and have been looking for tulle skirt patterns that are not too full. I love the waist facing but would like to also add a waist band as I was wanting a higher waist that will compliment a waist length jacket. Anyway I love your skirt so I’m just waiting for my embroidered tulle to arrive so I can get started. I’m making it for a summer garden wedding. ❤😊
      Thankyou Vicki

Thanks so much for this!! :) It helped me so much with making my (much fluffier) tulle skirt, the steps were identical and exactly what I needed :)

My tulle doesn’t measure 3x3, rather it is 1.5 in length. Is there a way to adapt the pattern to suit?

Hi! 😊 Depending on how long you want the skirt to be, you can make use of the semi-circle pattern of the skirt and add more layers. Hope this helps ❤️

Is it a full circle or half circle dress?

    • @sesaladiy

For the lining, I used the half circle pattern. For the tulle part, I used the full circle pattern-but I doubled it cause I wanted to gather it. Good luck with your project 💜

Can you please tell the fabric 😢

    • @sesaladiy

Of course! I used tulle for the face of the skirt and polyester duchess satin for the lining 💜

This was the most frustrating thing I’ve ever made and will never attempt again!

Hi! So sorry to hear that. Have you had problems with the instructions or with inserting the zipper? If it's because of the sewing instructions, maybe it will be better for you to work with an already made sewing pattern. If so, unfortunately, at the moment, I don't have one for this skirt (I plan to make one in the future), but I think you can search on Google/Pinterest, and you can find more one there. I wish you good luck with your projects! :)
