I’m quite impressed with the pricing esp with Brian’s “celebrity piercer” status in LA. How humbling! To compare, I got a needle piercing in a small town in Canada- and 2 lobe piercings (one per ear) costed a total of $350 after taxes. Same like you, $50 per piercing and the cost of jewelry (in which I chose a labret white gold hammered stud, which has titanium backing).

I’ve never seen a stack before looks awesome. I have 3 in a row on my left and one on the right. Since the two are a little higher the gun really messed them I woke up the next day with the earrings going half way through my ear.
I live in LA and am hoping to go with my daughter soon to get her ears pierced, and add something to my existing 7 piercings. Did you notice if he offered more standard jewelry (like surgical grade) rather than gold? Or what kind of prices did you see overall for the jewelry? Great question! Originally I has two piercing on both my lobes. I then added the two top piercings on my left helix as [what I thought would be] my only "extra" embellishments. Now that I'm similarly addicted (lol), I do plan on balancing it out with additional piercings to my right ear. The reason that I chose my left ear in the first place is that my side is my good side. :)

I also have 2 stacks on each lobe. They are the 4th lobe piercings, and were done at 16 gauge. I have 2 orbitals in each lobe as well. I have 12 piercings in my right ear, 11 in my left. Lobe, cartilage, flats, tragus and conch (right ear). All of mine are 25 years old or older. My first lobe was done when I was about 6 months old. (Jan Griffiths).

I am planning to have tragus piercing. Is it painful? How did you do the after care? Hopefully soon I will have the courage to go with the tragus. I absolutely loved this video and it’s on my bucket list to go have the constellation piercing I am. But I have a question… Are you able to change your own jewelry or is that need to be changed by a professional?
Most places do not use a gun. They are also pressure devices. I did some research. I found no pain with the pressure device. However. The gun which gets confused with this device is horrific I remember the pain. The device for me virtually painless. My first time ear piercings, nose and belly were painless. That said the pierciing studio used a sensation altering topical agent on my skin.
Unless you came to a vlogger’s channel to hear about the experience and what you need to know if you’re planning on getting these kinds of piercings yourself. That is aa very good question. Unfortunately, I don't know. But you can call the shop and ask what they use to make initial piercings. I'm sure they're all the same for simple lobe piercings. Thanks so much for watching Jo!
They look very small---18 to 20 gauge probably. Maybe even 22 gauge, which is really tiny. The needles were tiny as well--no 14 gauge piercings here. (Jan Griffiths).
Actually, constellation piercings are nothing new. They've been around for decades. The only things that have changed are the jewelry used, and letting the stylist suggest your piercings for you. And you actually do have constellation piercings. I have the little triangle like yours, but it's in my 5th lobe both ears. Can't wait to see what you're going to put on your right ear. $50 per piercing not including jewelry is already ridiculously high. He over charges a lot just cuz he's pierced celebrities. I'd never go to someone that does that. I have 17 piercings and on average I pay about $40 per piercing WITH the standard jewelry

Not sure where you live or where you get your piercings done but $50 per piercing is not out of the norm for very reputable and established piercers in NYC or Los Angeles. I know there are some lovely surgical grade earrings now on the market made for initial piercings but I preferred solid gold pieces, which was my more costly choice. I understand what you’re saying based on your experiences and your choices. However, the costs of things can vary greatly based on the locations. Things in NYC and LA just cost more than in most parts of the country. Body Electric Tattoo also just happens to be a world famous shop run by an iconic piercer. I wouldn’t consider paying more just because someone pierced the ears of a celebrity. I would, however, pay what I would consider a reasonable amount to be pierced by someone with such a long history of expertise and artistry. There’s a reason BKT is one of the most well known piercers in the world. 9 times out of 10, I’d rather go to him or someone like him when it comes to having a hole poked through my flesh having the opportunity and ability. 😂 I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Not really? Here for most piercings you're looking at $30-$100 per piercing depending on what it is, and that only includes your standard steel jewelry. You have to consider too, he works a lot with bvla stuff, that jewelry is incredibly expensive, like you're not finding anything for under $100. That's what you get at high end studios though.
In the LA/SoCal area, $50 for the piercing + jewelry is normal for a good piercer. You have to consider that the piercer is spending time with you (in this place you have to assume that people are probably spending a bit of time talking jewelry options plus the time of piercing), plus the cost of the materials and overhead (LA real estate is not known for being affordable). It’s your body, why would you want to cheap out on someone putting holes in it?
Hey, I like piercings but ONLY on the EARLOBE! I don't ADVOCATE for piercing other body parts! But if other people like that, that's THEIR thing and I don't BEGRUDGE them.
It's a cultural thing. I pierced my daughters ears and they have certainly not complained. Cultural traditions should be treasured. I hope any daughters they may have keep our traditions alive too. You really don't have a right to criticize the traditions of cultures that are not your own.
The last piercing that I got with a gun was just $30.00, which is more within my budget. There's NO WAY that I could afford to spend $50.00 for a piercing! But since he's a CELEBRITY PIERCER, his clients can afford his price.
