Thanks for the review and the discount code. Just a heads up their sizing guide is a bit wrong. Website says US11/UK10.5/29.5cm. However when the US11 came, all the others dimensions were down to UK10 and 29cm. I'd based my decision on 29.5cm so was a bit disappointed. Measuring the insole was not even 29, was about 28.8. Anyway LALO were very helpful and sent out new boots. For reference I'm NIKE size 11 all day in all shoe types, but needed to 1/2 size up. Wish I'd listened to the comments here.
I already own the Zodiac Recon ATs and those have a massive heel cushion. I was wondering if these had a less aggressive heel cushion because I’m thinking about buying them! Thank you!
@@airlandandseablogchannel4179 thank you for clearing that up! I love my Zodiac ATs. I use them on long rucks and when I’m done, my legs and feet still feel fresh. I really do like that the designers have added elements from the Shadow boots!
Thanks for the review! It seems the toe box is quite wide, which I really want! I like the altra running shoes because of the room for my toes to splay. Is this also the case for these rapid assault boots?
I absolutely love the Lalo Hydro Recon boot!!! BUT I HATE THIS BOOT! haha! it's a well constructed boot, its comfortable, it's tread is amazing, its durable...BUT the lacing system sucks. I like the quick lacing style for trail running shoes but it doesn't work on tall boots like this. If you pack weight for long distances you know that there are different ways to tie your boots for going up hill vs down hill and various other conditions. With the quick lace system on this boot you only have one pull and it equalizes the tension top to bottom. This makes the boot loose and sloppy. If it had a break at the ankle ditch with open side eyelets, then tied traditionally at the top I would buy them again. I use boots as a tool every day. It would be good for Lalo to consult Pro users and get feedback. Even the Hgdro Recon could use some minor adjustments. I am on my third pair of those :)
I’ve got some lalo Grinders for the gym, and jungles assault boots for work-lalo’s sizing is all over the place between the different models! Do you know how these compare to the shadow amphibian?
Based on exchange rate I'd say around 140 quid. I'm not sure if they post to uk but can find out if you want . I'll have a blog review posted with a 30 percent discount code in the next few days so will post in the description
It's hard to tell because it isn't summer yet but given they are made of Cordura, and despite the drain holes , I'm going to say that breathability will be am issue in high heat environments
@@eric-de4uv well that's a totally different question. They are superb at draining due to the water holes that actively push water out as you walk. These are great for amphibious use.
Probably one of the best gear reviews, strait forward and informative. please do more
Pretty sure you're the only one to review these boots. I'm so close to buying a pair. These boots are everything I'm looking for.
I love them! I've been using them most days. Please purchase via the link in my description to help support the site :)

Se pueden usar en el trabajo policial urbano?

Yeh you can still run in them on trails. I actually like them for uneven terrain running on rocky trails because of the extra ankle support
Ok thanks! but how is the toebox? is it wide, narrow? how does it fit?
@@tvo7551 it has a wide toebox

Do you know how these compare to the shadow amphibian?
Sizing wise they are on par with the jungle assault. These have a generous toe box but I always suggest a half size up with these
Are you able to do an actual run in these?
Yeh I run in these a lot, especially if it's uneven ground and I want the extra ankle support
For use as a hunting boot with lots of off-trail miles, would you wear the Rapid Assault or the Shadow Intruder?
I'd go rapid assault for the grip and comfort
Has anyone worn these boots in the summer? How did they feel? Thanks in advance.
Little bit clammy in the height of the summer but that's that's trade off with the tough Cordura.
@@airlandandseablogchannel4179 what size boot do you normally wear and what size boot did you end up getting?
Just ordered the 9" in coyote for hunting use.
Can you give me the site where I can order this
