I have recently lost my dear wife of 52 years listening and watching such a beautiful singer as Lucy brings me so much comfort. I have only recently discovered her amazing talent but now I can't stop watching her.

Respectfully disagree. I grew up admitting Barbara and Whitney. I strongly feel this young woman surpasses both of them. No disrespect wanted, I feel she is much better in my opinion.
She is otherworldly. Just try and listen to Memory from Cats by her and at that age. Also I dont want to miss a thing she at one point shows how high she can get. She really is the best singer in the world in my opinion.

When you're getting millions of views on TH-cam .. popularity is not in question. She may not be the next Rhianna .. but she could very well be the next Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion or Whitney Houston performing the standards that live forever. Linda Ronstadt is not her genre.. but she made a top star career singing covers of other songs and making them her own. Eventually.. Lucy may have originals written just for her or asked to perform them for movies. Don't write her off because she's not a teen idol sensation. From what little I see of her Live.. she seems nervous and not a natural onstage person. I've seen other up and coming stars who seem to be born to be on stage as well as sing.
