As a KPOP fan since 2009, I really miss KPOP 2nd Gen 🥰 I miss TVXQ, SS501, Super Junior, Bigbang, Wonder Girls, Girls' Generation (SNSD),2AM, 2PM, KARA, 2NE1, 4MINUTE, After School, Shinee, BEAST, MISSA, f(x), and Infinite comeback and promoting together 😭😭😭😭 They are the KPOP Legendary 🙌🙌🙌
May I add Beast (Highlight), MBLAQ and Tara. K-POP at this time was all about catchy hooks and easy to follow and fun dances.

2pm and 2am are like brother groups but they are very different. 2am is a ballad group who recently made a comeback after so many years. 2pm are known as the "manliest idols". Their vocalists are amazing. You should see their other songs. Some of their members are known actors as well. One of the member Nickhun is from Thailand and the first thai kpop idol.

Nowadays kpop is worlwide famous, but for me, that time was the actual golden age of kpop. They were the originals and creators of a lot of stuff that we see Third and Fourth groups still reenacting today. So much respect for Bigbang, Super Junior and 2PM. I'd recommend to check out groups from the First Generation too.

24:52 they're not backup dancers, that's 12 members EXO. In EXO use to be 12 but 3 Chinese members left the group, Kris (who was the leader), Luhan and Tao. Now EXO is 9 members group but the only Chinese member (Lay) can't promote with them because of the political restrictions between Korea and China and Lay is a very important person in China but he always says that he wants back to promote with them, he miss them so much 😩

In my school here in the Philippines although SUJU, BIGBANG, 2ne1, and SNSD, are known by many, EXO made kpop a trend. I remember when my classmates used to dance to growl and MAMA every break time. Oh my golden days
Super junior are known as the kings of hallyu. They debuted in 2005 and still going strong. They originally had 15 members with 2 of the Chinese members being in the the subunit Super junior-M only. They have a lot of subunits and their vocal unit K.R.Y consisting of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung are one of the most respected and greatest vocalists in kpop. You need to listen to them more. They are also the first kpop group to break into Latin America. They are from 2nd generation and sorry sorry was released in 2009 which was their biggest hit. If fact, they were supposed to be only a project group but due to their immense popularity, they were made into a permanent group.

2PM is definitely my favorite 2nd gen group, they have many many good songs and even until now they keep realizing many good music, you should also check out his recent music, one of the members is getting married and having a baby so he is not gonna have a cb soon but I hope in the future they all have another cb as a group

GD invented the lightstick , proved idols can write and produced their own music, brought fashion industry in kpop, started airport fashion . BigBang proved members can have solo careers and dont disband . Made hair in bold colors acceptabile. The were the first group to win an international award at MTV Europe 2011. In 2017 in top10 most sold concerts BigBang had 4 spots with group tour nr1 , GDs solo tour nr2 and Taeyang and Daesung solo tours also in top 10.
