Hello there, first, I would like to thank you for sharing such webnars. Also, please post info on when you would be scheduling such sessions in future. I have a question regarding the SSB mapping on MBSFN with SCS 30kHZ. As you know, if the SCS is 30kHZ, the SSB starting symbols w.r.t half frame are 4,8,16,20 for case B and 2,8,16,22 for case C (which basically mean that all SSBs confine to the first subframe in a half frame). As you know, MBSFN cant be scheduled in subframe 0/5. That means, SSBs can't be scheduled on MBSFN subframe in subframe 1 with SCS 30kHZ. But, in your diagram @ 55:52, I see all 4 SSBs being mapped to MBSFN. How can this be possible? please let me know if I am missing something.
@@5Gand6G Hello, Thanks fore the reply. Yes, I went through the mediatek white paper on DSS and tried to understand it. Even in that document, they are not clear on this. So, wanted to know what you think. I am also thinking of simulating this in matlab and see.
GREAT JOB. wonderfully and clearly deliver the knowledge. hats off sir .
Many thanks
Very informative.
Keep up the good work..
Just hope India launches 5G sooner than later.
Yes. I think within a year we will start seeing 5G network in India

Will look into it and reply to you
Let us collaborate to create more such technical resources for benifit of our fellow friends in the domain
Please read white paper as indicated in my PPT

Great job on this video! It was very informative.
Thanks
Hello there, can we simulate the performance of LTE and 5G NR? If yes, using which software?
Lot of Simulators are now available in market, one can buy.
Thank you sir for your reply. Please recommend me one. I need it for studying purposes.
what about those CRS which are present where MBSFN also present. will it impact LTE performance because earlier CRS are presents
MBSFN frames do not have CRS by design. No impact on 4G I suppose.
Is the scheduler in case of Dss, the same for 4g and 5g spectrum? Thank you
That is upto implementation
