The construction of the filmed montage of actual footage of Leigh Bowery was used to maximum effect actually moved me to tears was so well done. Thanks for the upload :)
I loved Taboo. Saw it twice. I was so sad when it closed on Broadway, and I wish I could see the original London version. This scene always makes me cry.
I would've loved to have had the chance as well to see it. Still ticks me off that American audiences couldn't handle it, most likely because it wasn't wholesome family fare.
Nah. The reason it didn't do great on Broadway was partially due to the resentment that many people have for Rosie O'Donnell (don't ask me why, I don't understand it) and partially because when they changed the book to make it more about Boy George, who Americans are familiar with, as opposed to Leigh Bowery, who is completely unknown here, it weakened the plot as a whole and made it kind of confusing. I believe if the book was rewritten it would do wonderfully on Broadway.
Beautiful torch song. One of the most underrated show on broadway. Saw it so many times. So much talent in that show

I love this song! Thanks for posting, I've always wondered what the Broadway version was like.
Taboo is now on at the Brixton Club House, London. New production, original creators!

Now as good as ever at the Brixton Clubhouse London.
