When dealing with the story of Noah, we often talk about the ridicule & embarrassment he had to endure. Rarely do we ever discuss what that may have been like for his children, to have to stand by & support your parents when everyone is laughing & criticizing their efforts? Being a Preacher’s Kid is quite similar:
* First, you were born into a family & assignment that you never asked for.
* You must support vision even when the congregation isn’t on board.
* You have to listen to individuals berate & belittle your parent’s efforts while not being allowed to defend them.
* You have to deal with kids who make fun of you for growing up in a house with godly parents.
* You have to serve in ministry even when you don’t want to, NO EXCEPTIONS.
* You spent more time in church than with your friends.
* You were constantly being watched & given little to no room for human error or mistakes.
* You had to carry the pressure of knowing EVERYTHING you do represents your family AND the church.
As a PK, you deal with all these things and MORE while realizing that you never asked to be a part of this. You didn't ask to be born to a First Family. You didn’t volunteer to be assigned pastoral birth parents. It is hard having parents that the outside world can’t understand.
This was such a powerful word given by Pastor Bryant at the annual PK Conference held at Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church. The PK Conference was started by the PK Connection. The PK Connection was comprised of the children from Bishop Jakes, Bishop Paul Morton, Bishop Alfred Owens, Rev. Floyd Flake & Pastor Willie Wilson. The children of these powerful pastors got together & decided to form a conference that would serve as an outlet for other PKs & Pastors to come & worship as well as become encouraged for the journey they face.
Dr. Jamal Bryant the Lord said to me not to connect myself to something he had cut off . I heard the Lord said this to me 3 different time
I will never be friends to those people who can't stand me , who try to Archer size my character, back stabbing people but I'm still here and I'm still standing but guests what I believe God AMEN

My own anointing
I had Never heard of a "PK" before COVID-19! Oh preacher's kid. I kept hearing the acronym letters. Most assume you know what is meant. I knew many children of preachers. So many things I was not smart to think others thought differently when I would tell my family. I apparently was around other families similar in my relationships that I didn't notice is a better word than didn't exist so much dissonance on many subjects especially the taboo ones.
This has to be a dream come true for my pastor tonight speaking at the convention 2024. He is a great candidate to speak! His parents too should be proud. He is definitely not a martyr to be killed like mlkjr even though his testimony was he chose more house for the fact Martin Luther king jr attended. I do not think Donald trump should be attacked as he was nearly killed. It's a shame your endeavors to be a world leader or person offering the American people better to be punished. That goes for Kamala Harris as a female in the footsteps of past women. I want my mother to say she's proud of me again too.

Never heard this one either. Seasick and boaterecked. lol glad I was able like many others in my family could have taken my uncle been in prison wearing an anklet but it's not a gun to see his 2 brothers in the cemetery . Couldn't talk back but two white bricks represent the soldiers. Voting already gone.
