Please tell me you're gearing up to tour festivals this summer! You'd be such a hit my dude. The electronic music world needs more unique, authentic musicianship like this in the worst way.
I am doing my best to get there by next summer! I will spent a lot of time this winter practicing. And I will probably stream some of those rehearsals live :) However doing this live on stage does have its challenges. For example do my instruments brake sometimes (or they just randomly go out of tune or fall apart) and recording and looping the tubes in a loud environment is even more challenging than in a quite room. Therefore, I can't foresee how long it will take exactly (since I want to assure you a super awesome live show :D) I am also thinking of doing some more "geeky" live streams or videos about the issues I still have. Maybe some of you could help me fix some of the problems. Let me know if you would be interested!
@@after_cooking it'll be awesome to see those streams!! (TH-cam has rules around live streams that takes time to get approved. Make sure to do a few dress rehearsals to make sure it all works before you advertise live sessions! I learned that lesson the hard way early 😂🤦♂️)

Ok und wieder mal hab ich gemerkt wie verdammt lange das dauern wird bis ich dazu in der Lage bin nur etwas ansatzweise so geniales zu machen, nähmlich nie😂
Ach Unsinn :D Es ist definitiv viel Arbeit, aber solange du dran bleibst kann man echt viele coole Sachen machen! Es ist nur wichtig das man weiter macht, Tag für Tag. Auch wenn man mal eine Zeit lang denkt dass man keine Fortschritte macht (das passiert mir jede Woche), wirst du auf langer Sicht sehen, wie sehr man sich dann doch weiterentwickelt! Du packst das, ich glaub an dich!

Love how much you're enjoying what you do. I have a question, how do you turn the looping on and off as I can't see you starting and ending recording of certain beats, etc?
In most videos I choose to automate the looping function, or I post-edit the recording and make it loop afterwards. The main reason for me to do this is A: I can focus more on live drumming and B: I can keep the song shorter because I can loop everything faster. BUT if I play live (for example on stage or in a live stream) I use the software Ableton in combination with the Novation Launchpad Pro (the thing with the many buttons) to loop. I will definitely do some live streams or upload some longer live sets on YT in the future so you can see the button pushing in action :)
