- Even though SKAM has been finished for over a year now and may or may not be devastatingly irrelevant at this point, I couldn't help but make another tribute to Isak i.e. one of the best fictional characters on all of television, imo.
Isak has gone through the most development on the entire show and is arguably the fan favorite, though (and correct me if I'm wrong!) sometimes it feels like his story can be glossed over as "the gay storyline" which isn't!!! true!!! So I really wanted to highlight some of his other attributes, especially his own mental health and his anger throughout the show. To be honest, I've always related quite a bit to Isak (moreso to Even), but this video really really really made me feel more connected to him than ever adlkjfkdds you may or may not see my own emotions poured all over this. I've been a mess lately, my friends. M e s s.
ANywho, soRRY for the spontaneous and erratic posts! My life is a constant roller coaster it seems. Some updates since I last posted: I changed my degree program, I moved to Denmark for 2 months, and I went to Oslo and sat on the Evak benches and cried a lot!!!
Thank you everyone who is still subscribed to me and still leaving comments, I'm sorry I'm TERRIBLE but I'm trying my best. This video really sparked some fire in me and reminded me once again how passionate I am about making these so (no promises) but I hope it won't take another 6 1/2 months for me to post again.

What a wonderful tribute to Isak you made! Wow. It was like I made this emotional journey side-by-side with him, I felt every single one of his emotions. And that ending scene is a stroke of a genius. It is so calm and pure. In Even Isak finally found his whisper in a world that only shouts. I'm so glad that Julie Andem wrote this scene from Even's PoV, I think it was a nice way to give a closure to the Isak and Even's story.

Recently rewatched SKAM and remembered this edit from like 3-4ish years ago. It bothered me for about 3 days because I couldn’t remember the name of the song in the back. I looked around until I finally found it! This edit is what made me watch SKAM, love it!!

I'm really grateful that you created this! I don't see much stuff on our original Skam anymore so this warms my heart so much. I couldn't agree more about your feelings in description. Isak is the best character in the show, he's just so special and precious. And I'm so amazed by the fact that you visited their bench, I would die to experience that too, congrats!
I will (single-handedly, if I have to) not let SKAM die!!! I still have a couple videos I promised people I'd make... from like a year ago...... so even if it takes me 10 years, they are coming.
Isak is just one of those incredbly unique, one-in-a-million characters you get with the perfect storm of good writing, an amazing actor, and lots of passion. It's so rare and a huge reason why his character (and season 3) are so special. It's beautiful and can't be recreated.
YES I SAT ON THE EVAK BENCHES and just stared at Nissen for hoouuurs. It was so magical. We went on a weekend so we took our time with pictures and just enjoyed the atmosphere. I cried a little because I miss SKAM so much haaaaaaaa.

Isak and Even are my, hands down, my favorite characters on the show. I really identify with Even and he came into my life at the absolute perfect moment, but I also see quite a bit of myself in Isak (which... really stood out with this video I think, making me connect to it even that much more). And I am just sooo in love with their love, it's everyone I ever would want in a relationship, so they just always make me so happy! I love them. I miss them.
Gosh the remakes aaaaahhhhgggghhhhh. If anyone other than you is reading this, I may or may not piss someone off, but I.... ahajajakk. Neeeiiiiii. I tried them all at least for a couple episodes but ://// To be fair, I actually do like Druck (the German one) a lot... I think it's less of a remake and more of a tribute, and the characters are so wildly different that even though it's the same plot, it feels fresh. I was actually considering making a video for it but I don't want to give anyone the impression I am now a channel vidding for the remakes? Idk. The others... nooo. Noooooooo. Sorryyyyyyy if whoever reads this likes them, but they (especially the American one) just feel cheap and make me incredibly frustrated that they exist, period. I wish they didn't. In a perfect world we'd have the 6 seasons we deserved. 😭
Yes, the memories will be cherished forever and ever! I did not meet any of the cast, but I wasn't really expecting to when I went. Henrik ended up being in the wilderness somewhere and Tarjei was in Copenhagen I believe (not that I would've approached him in a million years, he intimidates me) and yeah. But we spent a lot of time on the Yousana boardwalk which was GORGEOUS and went swimming and stuff and lots of long walks and. Love Oslo. I can't wait to go back eventually ❤️

Oh no, please don't ever stop! Your videos are perfect and I'm sure you make many people happy by your work.
I love how you always include nicely visible subtitles in them and mainly I love how you are able to tell the whole story with it. I mean, if I wanted to present Skam to someone who doesn't know it yet, I would send them your videos. They are so pure, clear and so well made. They just 'tell' you what you need to know and it evokes incredible feelings.
Aww thank you! To be perfectly honest, I purposely make them to fully explain the stories because 97% of the family and friends I send my videos to have never seen the show 😂 So I try to make them as comprehensive as possible! I'm glad it's working!!!
One of my greatest life disappointments is never getting Even's season. I was soooo ready for it, I had so many video ideas for it, and as someone with mh issues I really REALLY wanted an entire season about mh that wasn't full of Hollywood glamor or guilt tripping or victimization ect. But I am glad we got what we did, Henrik was spectacular. As you said, I have no idea how Julie managed to find the both of them, that kind of incredible talent and beauty and chemistry is also so rare. Gosh.
I very quickly got overwhelmed by the amount of fans rushing towards the remakes which I think was another thing that pushed me away from them! I'm still very sad and frustrated, so now I just try my best to ignore it all. They can absolutely like what they want to, but I now surround myself with people who either 1) don't watch any of them or 2) feel similar to how I do about them. I think I'm getting even more overwhelmed too because within the next few months we will be getting many new versions of season 3 which is............... my head hurts thinking about it. I'm not sure how to avoid it. Too many feelings.
I gotta get over the high of finishing this video and then I'll see how I feel about making a Druck video. :) But you're right, the original is the original! It breaks my heart when I see people comparing the og to the remakes, or saying certain remake scenes are better than the original. Again, just trying to avoid it. People can certainly enjoy what they want too and I won't take that away from them, but the remakes just aren't for me! I'm a bitter girl.
Haha he's terrifying! I know he doesn't like to be approached so that would already put me way off, and also he's just so... ah I can't explain. Just so incredibly talented with a larger than life presence? Goodness, I'd melt just being within a ten mile radius of him. Henrik I think I'd be more okay with, but if I'm expecting it. While I was living in Copenhagen, he randomly showed up for a few days and I was having constant heart attacks because it was so unexpected! It's easier when you go to Oslo and have time to prepare yourself just in case 😂

it's a TV show called SKAM. there are many versions out now, but this is the original from Norway. the official website is skam.p3.no/episoder/ but you can only watch there if you live in Scandinavia. dailymotion has all of the episodes translated with english subtitles if you would like to start there :) the character featured in this video is the main character of Season 3, though he appears in the other seasons and has a storyline throughout Season 1 as well. i hope this helps!!!
