Interested to know if I can get my hands on the tool that you have for the drywall anchors in the US. I’d really enjoy having one. I’m also in the fire alarm and security field and utilize anchors often! Having something like that would be outstanding! If you could, maybe provide me a link for it or maybe we could discuss direct payment to you and you could ship one to me flat rate? Nice stable of bags ! My most recent acquisition is a a TPXXL ! My next Veto will probably be a Tech Pack Wheeler ( for applications where I don’t need my Milwaukee Packout stack !
@@danstoolroom7700 Brother , I owe you a few ! You introduced me to the smaller sizes of Knipex side cutters , now the 125mm, and 140 mm are my mainstays . I have heavier ones , but the mostly stay I. The bag . Being semi retired , I mostly do maintenance/ retrofits .
I just got some knipex 74 21 160 side cutters for in my tech-mct. Knipex only makes them in 200 and 250 now, was lucky to find them in a store. They are the ones with a 12° bend, which I prefer
@@danstoolroom7700 yeah I count myself lucky I found some. The straight ones are great but I really prefer the angled ones. I also got the 200’s and they’re great, but these save a lot of space and I already carry linesman for the big stuff
Concept Pro is the product name of Videcon, one can find that CCTV test monitor under various name , and the price can differ by over £200.00 for the same product !! And, by pure coincidence, I dud mine out last week to charge and then... forgot, it's now on charge as this post reminded me !! I reckon I have had that for maybe five years now, along with at least ten other test monitors. Dahua seems to be my 'go to' IP test monitor and my trusty old Teletest for CVBS analogue cameras.. always carry at least two of each as I could not be hundreds of miles away and have one fail... or run out of charge.
You need to get your head around that sniffer, you may just find it one of your most useful tools.. I would have killed for one of those in my youth, the only guys who seemed to have them in the UK those days were GPO engineers and they would not part with them. Tend to come under the generic name ' tone testers' some are more sophisticated than others. They are used to trace cables.. clip the transmitter on cable at one end and the 'sniffer' end is used to locate the cable at the other end... by listening to the tone that the Tx produces. How on earth you managed to use it those few times you mentioned, I have no idea if you don't know anything about it. Some are more sophisticated than others of course, basic sniffers can be used with most TX units, the more expensive ones have to be used as a dedicated pair.. they avoid 'stray' signals that can be produced by all sorts other equipment.

Enjoyed the video! How would you compare the quality between the Velocity back pack you have and the Veto back pack ? I currently use a Veto Tech XL but we’re doing a lot of city/town work which means having to park quite far out from site and carrying it around now is becoming tedious 😂
For me nothing stands up to the veto for quality and also the veto is a lot bigger than the velocity. Veto do a tech pac mc that is the smaller one morw the size of the velocity.

@@danstoolroom7700 It’s been a week having the Pro Pac and I bloody love it! Still have my Tech-XL but the amount of hassle the Pro Pac saves is great, especially on those long car park walks into the city 😩
