You sir, are the man... I've been dreading setting this up due to Cisco's "friendly" setup. This is a breath of fresh air. Thank you very much for this! Very well explained. 9 people couldn't figure out how to use the mouse on a terminal session ;)
Hey Woody, Awesome job on the instructions and the video. I thought it was very informative and easy to follow you. For those of us that are setting up home lab this was very good!!!! Thanks dude
% Not enough DSP resources available to configure pri-group on controller E1 0/2/0 % The remaining dsp resources are enough for 0 time slots. % For current codec complexity, 1 extra 16 channel dsp(s) are required to create this voice port. im getting above error could you please help me out.
First I want to thank you for this effort, and I want to ask you what is the data needed from the service provider to collect before configuring the router
Hey, thanks for the upload! From your other video it appears you are trying to run a SIP Trunk from CUCM to this router; However I don't see any dial-peers configured in this video to allow for in/out dialling? Did this set up work? Or did you have to add dial peers to your config? If you could post an update it would be great, I am just trying to build a system to run SIP from CUCM to gateway and E1 out of the gateway. Thanks!
+waspishbobfish I did have to set up dial peers on the remote gateway. I did not include any dial-peer information because there is so much on the subject if one was to search Google. If you are trying to connect a SIP trunk in CUCM to the remote gateway watch my follow up video if you haven't already, that might help you. Sounds like the setup in my videos is the same that your are trying to do. Let me know if you need any more help setting this up. Still helpful 7 years later. Thanks for the video.
